Nice writeup and thanks. Definitely look forward to more reviews, mods, and pics. You are using exactly how I believe I would. Think I am going to move on from the Vstrom. Would like a bike like your Honda to haul on the back of the 4 for exploration and store runs on trips, a nice and...
I'm picking up what you are putting down...what's the review. Tell us about it. I would love this bike but a lot of money. I have a 2014 Vstrom 1000 and a 2017 YZ250X. The YZ is used from extreme Enduro to MX. A great bike. The Vstrom is fun but not as versatile as I think the 450 L would be...
Has anyone actually broke an awning mount or know of one breaking? Can not find any record of these mounts breaking if properly anchored to a quality rack.
Very nice! In for where you take this. It seems to be a great platform with it's only limitation being weight. The KTM's are all about minimal weight but I feel they will require a lot more maintenance than the Honda. I priced a KTM 500 EXC at the dealer a few days ago and they wanted...
I guess so.....I own a 5th gen 4Runner. It didn't do so well in the lab.
Hate to keep showing this video but the point is real life is not a lab. The Wrangler didn't fare well in the lab. This person recovered and lived. I will take body on frame over anything.
Not a lab offset test in a...
I know these show some things but I also believe some manufacturers total goal is to do well in these lab tests and design the vehicles around these lab tests in order to be able to advertise the success. Which is smart business on their part but..... These are lab tests and nothing in real...
Yeah I'm afraid to say it cuz I have owned a Tundra but out of the two trucks right now I would go with the Ford 5.0. The Ford is a newer design and is a good truck. I wouldn't get a ecoboost but thats just me.
But if you are going to sell it in a few years get the Tundra. Great resale...
I'll pass. If anything PW I would choose the Tradesman with the PW option. All the good parts of the PW without the fluff. Or a 6.4 chassis cab, build from there.
I have also thought about the Autohome and JB and they have issues also. Autohome has sketchy customer service and you read lots of issues with the JB build quality. I thought hell may as well throw a few more dollars in and have a metal tent that can handle branch hits and the sun.
The...
I don't think it is either. I would get a base XL with wall to wall vinyl and all the good drive train bits and build from there. I like simple and reliable and could care less about all the other bs. Probably why I like my 4Runner so much:D
I hear ya, I'm waiting a few years before even looking for anything new. I used to buy new vehicles all the time and realized after many many vehicles I'm shooting myself in the foot financially. Very hard headed I guess but it sure was fun. However...I am Excited about the Godzilla motor...
