You are right, not much info. They are the most affordable but as others have mentioned sometimes you get what you pay for. Just wish there was more info out there on the cheaper Roofnest.
Thanks again, but not sold at all. I am not even sure I will even get a RTT. Again I am just doing my due diligence here. In fact I am leaning towards the Maggiolina Columbus Variant SMXL, but if I can save $1000 why wouldn't I? Toyota 4Runner is the vehicle and yes every pound is...
Also the Camp King, although nice, is 176 pounds. Not an option for me. That is simply too much. The aluminum hard shells I feel are another level from the fiberglass/abs hard shells.
A Chinese tent obviously does not bother me. Most RTT's are made in China, just not a lot of the hard shell tents are Chinese. China makes some good stuff believe it or not. An it's not like this tent is cheap. $2600 plus shipping is a lot of money. I understand what you are saying...
At this point and I hate to say it but if I needed a new midsize it would be the Colorado over the Tacoma. IMO it is just as reliable, V6, and just a better truck. More power, better frame, more towing capacity, can haul more, prob can get it at a cheaper price than the Tacoma, etc..
Well I have emailed them, emailed some of the listed dealers, and no one seems to want to answer my emails or sell me a tent. So I may just be moving on since this company doesn't seem to exist. Glad you have had good luck but apparently my money is no good for them.
I got mine and it definitely needed a new battery so I bought a replacement battery from Batteries Plus. This model ....

The battery fits perfect and has been great. Thanks again to Steve for a great deal and a quick sale.
Never mind, went to Batteries plus and picked up this replacement battery. fits perfectly.

Any idea or experiences here if this battery will work? The height is the only concern. Thanks!

I think you mean it's BS because it seems like a double standard with how strict they are to the manufacturers but allow these companies to do whatever. An as far as "bring the hammer down", I feel that will have to do with which direction our government trends in the future. One side is pro...
Yeah I may just not even look for any efficiency and just go for a vehicle that will last the rest of my life. Be done with all this. One more and done. Maybe something like a new Godzilla powered F350
Yeah I would have to look it up...well I can't find anything, but it does have more air bags and all kinds of "safety" crap the 4 doesn't have. The uglier the better.
That would be cool and I hope you are right. That would mean it will probably have more than one motor option also. I'm thinking diesel cuz the Chevy is doing pretty good with theirs.
