Thanks for the link in the other thread regarding the O2 sensor Jeremiah!
Just ordered these from Amazon: Denso #234-4169 Oxygen Sensor
I've been clocking terrible fuel economy (which is expected to some degree) but I've been averaging 14 MPG. I don't really drive with a lead foot and I live...
Cool I didn't know you had an AirTop!? How do you like it?
Looks like a decent crossing. Ever since I witnessed a brand new Tacoma hydrolock 30kms into the back country and have to get dead-towed out by two other trucks and winches, I've leaned on the side of caution with water crossings.
I struggle to get 15MPG on the highway also.... I'm at approx 3500ft though. I still wonder if replacing the O2's has any benefit if they aren't throwing codes. Might need to start tinkering.
Awesome Jose! More info on the parts you ordered for your OBS system when you can. I'm also looking into this as I may be planning a LONG roadtrip in the coming year. Excited for more updates.
Exactly what I told them after installing mine. Even the 650lb spring in my opinion is not suited for a stock Tundra. If my truck is loaded with camping gear, I bottom the front out fairly often on the trail/logging roads (and I don't have skids or a bumper yet). I'm not trying to burn Fox here...
Nice coilovers!
Interested to see if your coils rub your cv axle shaft at some point during its cycle. With the massive shock bodies I have slight wear marks on my CV shafts and coilovers where they make contact. My misalignment spacers are also properly adjusted. The more I think about it...
Back from my trip to the mountains. Unfortunately though I dont have many photos or a write up. We were out there exclusively to gather footage for an upcoming film fesitval entry that we are working on. The good news is that once it's done (May 20th deadline) I should be able to post it here...
Lol yah sorry, I was referring to length laying down. I am 6'6" tall so interior length is a hug concern. Reduced headroom I can deal with.
FWIW I really liked my ST Maxx.
19-20MPG, that's what dreams are made of! Wish mine would pull those kind of numbers.
Awesome rig. I have really been debating a hard-shell RTT as of late. I'm just worried it would be too short internally for my height. Next time your up there, would you mind getting me a usable length...
