I have the wheelers kit and no issues to report. I think Sean has the earlier Tundra calipers so the clearance might be slightly different. I'm running the original connectors with the wheelers lines above and it has been all good for the last 30,000kms since installed.
Rig is looking good Sean! Glad your keeping it and out using it. Jelly of your trip to Rock Therapy, I'm scrounging for ways to convince work to let me go!
Well I must say that I am happy you have found my tale interesting enough to repeat visit once, let alone a dozen times! Thank you!
Funny you mention Google earth, as I've spent countless hours on it this spring hunting out possible routes and new valleys to explore in this direction. So...
My old T4R after sliding into a tree while being off camber on slippery terrain, sliders kept it from being worse as they contacted the tree before it could further push in on the body. Got lucky... dented the B-pillar slightly and just replaced the door. No damage to the roof line was done...
Hahah broken down. Got my camera nerd face on right now!
Camera: Sony A6300
Adaptor: Metabones (so we can run Canon glass on the Sony body)
Lens: Canon 24-105L f/4.0 IS
Subject: 2014 Tacoma TRD Sport w/mods
Shot my buddies Tacoma yesterday with our new Sony A6300 running Metabones adaptor and Canon 24-105L f/4.0. VERY impressed with this little camera.

Agreed. I'm just trying to tip-toe the line between actual usage and wants. I really don't rock crawl that much and spend 90% of my time now doing more overland type adventures. Every pound I keep off the truck will ad up and make the whole package more drivable in the end. Just trying to find a...
Pics can be a PITA. I'm always scared I'm going to mess up my camera equip with my greasy hands haha.
^Yup! 37x14" Maxxis tires that don't balance worth a ****. He had such bad death wobble the steering box on the 80 series LC almost ripped off. The frame end was fractured all the way around...
Hahah I love that badge. You wouldn't believe how many people ask "Is that really a Hybrid?". LOL
Yah it's crazy.... I'm probably not doing a straight cut, gunna taper it at an angle downwards. We are also doing the same thing for the mounts. Bolt it all up and then weld the 2x4 on - build off...
JB Discovery Space XXL or the Autohome Columbus Variant (Med - long). I'm 6'6" as mentioned in your thread, so just really trying to get something that fits for length. I like the slimmer profile (width) of the Autohome but the JB seems like it has a lot of nice features and it's more...
Talk about distracted driving! haha
Great job on the video. These things never cease to amaze me.... I picked up the DJI Inspire 1 Pro this January and have been able to get some absolutely stunning footage with it.
Great link Jeremiah, thanks for sharing! Still waiting to dial in some other components but this will be on my radar. I have a set of Archive Garage shackles incoming I need to mount up and see where the truck is sitting. Leafs after that.... which reminds me, I need to do a write up on the SFK...
Yah its not cheap! I had a Borla catback already installed. So after I got the TRD headers I just needed the BAMufflers center section completed. I had him send me all the parts to build the center section to connect my headers to the Borla. I installed the headers myself and then took it to my...
Yah it's not a cheap system. BAMufflers sent me all the components and I had to get them welded together for the center section to mount up to the headers. I already had a Borla catback so that was easy and didnt need to be replaced. I installed the headers myself. My center section has...
