Not to further distract from the discussion but in a way my concerns are relevant. I'm not being hard on Autohome, whatever that means??? It's a business. Autohome USA actually has a thread here that says they support Exportal....but they never make a post or answer posts. I would be very...
Toyota was only 36 percent compliant because of the way the standards work. All of Toyota's "all new" vehicles for 2016 met the standards. Regardless, Toyota will produce a more efficient Tundra in 2021 as they pretty much have to in order to stay competitive. Toyota has been sitting back for...
I suspect it has something more to do with the regulations and required minimum mileage over the entire range of vehicles per the CAFE standards. An yes I think they will still have a v8 option but suspect they may try to compete with the other brands more closely and offer other engine options...
I'm not sure Maggiolina USA can even be trusted. Meaning they don't follow this forum, they don't answer calls or emails. Not even sure if they even exist??? Are these tents still the best? If so how is the customer service?? Being on the East coast I can't just drop by the warehouse.
I was referring to the cab on the test mule. I think they are using an old cab on the test mule and the new truck will be all new. I don't think they would expose the new cab to the public this early. At least that is my hope.
Also the pictures are showing a mule test vehicle. No way Toyota is gonna use anything on a test vehicle that will tip their hand to the public...my guess is this 2021 truck will be all new, chassis and body, all new. We shall see.
The rear wheel is a real time torque sensing wheel used for info gathering and monitoring. With the 6 lug, drivers side exhaust(not sure whats up here), different rear suspension, maybe we are getting a Tundra HD??? prob not but...
twin turbo v6 and a diesel are rumored
Yes Toyotas rep runs deep. I have had many Toyotas(9) and many Tacomas (4)....currently drive Toyotas best...4Runner...I will never own this latest Tacoma, its horrible and needs redone, again, my opinion. The Colorado and Ranger are better.
Yeah forgot to say i changed my jack out also for one with a handle in front so could add the tractor supply box on the tongue. Keep spare moto stuff i there, wheel chocks, air pump, etc. Great trailer
I have the aluminum RCI plates on my 4. They are worth the money. I wasn't going to ever extreme rock crawl, just need good protection, and with lots of other mods throughout the years to come, weight was definitely a consideration so that is why i chose aluminum.
I have the same trailer with a spare tire bolted to the side. Its a lifetime trailer. I have thought about adding a rack and throwing a tent on it for base camp moto camping. 4Runner tows it well
I'm picking up what you are putting down but I'm honest with myself and realize I won't use 3/4's of all that "luxury" crap so why should I pay for it??? The seats are the same so I'm just as comfortable as I would be in a so called "luxury" truck. Most of the base model trucks come standard...
