Doesn't Maggiolina also have a 5 year warranty??? And a lot cheaper than JB. I know JB is a quality tent but the price is hard to justify. If they were cheaper I would probably already have one. Unfortunately it seems nothing gets cheaper, prices only go up.
Well the first thing would be to stop trying to make it a car and scrap the Camry motor. Put a truck motor in it. Next, fully boxed frame. Rear disc brakes. Increase capability/hauling/towing. Diesel?, yes please. The Tacoma also needs it's ergonomics revamped. Then we can get into the...
The current Tacoma is just up to par with the other manufacturers offerings IMO. Especially for the price. Sure it's reliable but there are so many other things that need to be considered and the others are reliable also. The Tacoma needs an upgrade badly.
I don't know where you live but I still have my practically brand new 10x14 Kodiak. My kids are all grown and moved away. This tent is too big for just me. PM me if interested. I am on the east coast.
This sounds like a diesel! Or am I just hearing things...check the vid.

I agree that an aftermarket suspension will most likely be the cats meow on the new Ranger. Say an OME medium or so. Despite the ecoboost (I have never owned one but my family has had horrible issues-early motors) which I'm not sure I trust completely yet, the price, and I believe the ease of...

F150 got it's name from being able to haul 1500 pounds, F250, 2500 pounds and so on and so forth. Now the midsize trucks haul that much but the name of the bigger trucks stuck.
So if they(US and world) are the same vehicles or roughly the same it must be the suspension setups. I understand we here in America are fat and lazy and like to sit on the couch, hence the comfort suspension, etc., but I would love to have the world Ranger instead of the dumbed down Ranger we...
What I was trying to say. for example look at the Ranger they get overseas vs the one we get here in the US. Ford could have gave us what the rest of the world gets. A one ton Ranger with multiple engine options, etc...So why didn't they? F150 is my guess. Otherwise, why not bring what the...
All these manufacturers could produce a midsize truck that would be 99% of what anyone would need. But they don't. Ford and all the others don't produce the best midsize they can because they have to protect their half tons sales. There really is no need for a half ton section of trucks if...
Again not sure if this whole remove the wheel thing for an oil change is true. Also if you are willing to use adapters and relocation devices on the Toyota, why not the Ford? I hear ya about the old crap, new is not always better that is for sure.
I'm guessing all this heresy and stuff will be cleared up when the ranger finally gets here and people start test driving them. As mentioned I have heard you don't need to pull the front tire to change the oil, which is no big deal anyway since that is when you rotate the tires. @Clutch 5000...
So it's like changing the oil on a Cummins right? Through the fender?
Also the article may not be accurate...I heard 3 fasteners and the wheel doesn't need to be removed. Time will tell
