The syn rope is much better than a cable, I’ve seen a cable break and snap back, I had a friend almost cut a finger off with a frayed cable while on the trail. For a kit, build your own, call custom splice.

I had tons of problems with my ifs blazer,cv shafts, ball joints, bad angles due to ( I’m sure they have come along way since then) lift and no articulation. I would want a nice 4 link Dana 60 on some coil overs and a rear 60 or 14 bolt, but that is over kill and costly.

I had a full-size black blazer sport (1994), they are fun unique vehicles, my question is how did you find one in such nice condition? Don’t waste your time on the ifs lift, not worth it, you only gain room for bigger tires, you still will have typical early gm ifs problems, and that rear 10...

I pulled mine out when I sprayed the rear bumper with line x, I put them all in a bag and randomly re installed them, I even broke several plastic mounts, 2years laiter they still work perfect.

I agree with you on your concerns about the backup sensors, I too have kids (neighbors) that run behind my vehicle, I ordered my truck with a back up cam and sensors for a purpose, to not hit someone and to make it easier to hook up a trailer. I feel you are right in wanting to keep that option...

What hub kit did u have on your 06? I had a dynatrac kit on mine, thinking about getting a spyntech kit now, just to save a couple bucks.

It’s not for fly rods, for fly rod holder I recommend Denver outfitters. I keep my sage rod and reel in my truck, a matter of fact it’s so valueable to me I lock it in my gun safe when not fishing.

I’ve had 7 ram trucks starting back in 01, everyone has been modified for what I like to do, travel, hunt, fish and drive in some ruff areas. I remember when road armor, alien patrol and some other brand started making that bumper design, they took off with the show truck crowd but not overland...

For the cummins trucks that bumper really sticks out far and looks kinda weird, for the gas trucks it looks great, just my opinion

People get so hung up on the intercooler protection that the AEV bumper supposedly lacks, I have never had an issue. Remember diesel power products ran the ultimate adventure in a ram with an AEV bumper. For what 99% of us the AEV or ARB bumpers will work fine.

From my experience road armor bumpers are cheaply built, flimsy and are more for looks. If you want extreme protection and good lucks get a buckstop. I had a ranch hand on one of my old trucks, it was very heavy and extremely heavy duty (schedule 40 drill pipe). I would strongly consider...
