    JK traction control issue

Front. That is why it only happens when you’re turning and the suspension compresses. I would guess passenger side, but inspect with a bright light and you’ll see the marks.

    JK traction control issue

you may have replaced the harness with the sensor changes, but I would still suspect it as bad. Mine managed to wear almost 6 inches of insulation down, yet never worked into the wire very obviously. Changing was quick and easy.

    JK traction control issue

I’ve had the same issue. Your wheel has rubbed through the insulation on the abs sensor wire. $30 and 20 min to replace the wheel sensor pigtail and you’re back in business. Lots of quality and price levels on Amazon.

Point me to a 72"-80" wide RTT?

Curious what vehicle you will be mounting across that has the width to support a 72-80” tent that opens off the back?

Point me to a 72"-80" wide RTT?

CVT Denali. I love the one I got, but it is heavy. I believe they are available without extended and annex coverage. Actually, the Denali is 84” wide, but still a great option. The biggest Tepui is nice too at 72”. I think they are calling it the Kukenam 4 now.

Is a Jeep Wrangler with a Defender Front End considered blasphemy?

Did I miss something? Is the OP selling kits? If this is a one off custom, have fun with it. If you start thinking about selling these, consult an attorney (who will probably say “No”).

Roof top tent options for JKU

Someone else asked that. If I have any, they are on my old phone. I’ll have to try and look. It didn’t really work out all that well, but we spent a few nights in it.

Roof top tent options for JKU

I’ve run 3 different configurations on my JKU Gobi. 1). 2 Tepui Ayers - one opened forward one backwards, front one was not ideal. 2) 1 Tepui Ayer - opened off the back. This was awesome but family grew. 3) 1 Tepui Kukenam - opened off the back. This was the best overall setup. Then the...

    Questions: 1st Time Jeep Buyer

Some additional thoughts: My 2014 JK was new off the lot. It is by far the worst CAR I’ve ever owned. And I love it. One of my friends advised when I was considering going from a large Sedan to a Jeep: If you want a vehicle that rides rough, leaks, blows around on the highway, has horrible...

    Questions: 1st Time Jeep Buyer

2 Door isn’t as nice as 4 in winter driving, they swap ends much more easily, although thousands drive in snow all the time, your tolerance might vary. Families grow and dogs age, and getting in and out of the back of a 2 door is rough, this why the 4 door is so wildly popular. for your...

Is a Jeep Wrangler with a Defender Front End considered blasphemy?

I wouldn’t be so much concerned about the Blasphemy (which it is) but more the reliability. Adding a Rover badge to a Jeep just about guarantees an expensive repair any time you want to drive more than 100 miles, or maybe go up a hill. The only thing worse would be to swap in a powerstroke...

    RTT From Ford in 1959

The lack of telescopic ladder keeps it off the wishlist of “legitimate expo guys”.

Dual Plug Heads, or, What's The Alternative Again?

That is really interesting. His site is funny. I want to believe it, but all of his counter arguments popped up in my head. I’ve only owned one dual plug engine, a 5.7 Hemi Charger. I can’t say it made a difference, because it was designed that way, but it was a heck of a good car for well...

Not even spell check. Given the number of errors in the text, is it safe to assume that $110k was also a typo?

    Max Coupler

While the specific purpose of the Max Coupler is not to cause or allow sway, it still seems at odds with the point of the coupler to restrict movement and add anti-sway. I’m guessing you won’t find something specifically designed to work with the max coupler and will probably have to build...

    Jerry Can holder help

No need to apologize, just noting that Wavian is generally considered high quality. I put a straight edge across 2 of mine, the seam is recessed and then doesn’t protrude past the front surface for the most part, maybe 0.005-.008 in a few spots, but largely insignificant. Good luck!

    Jerry Can holder help

I can’t imagine anyone would describe real Wavian cans as cheap Chinese metal cans. Where did you get your cans?

    Jerry Can holder help

Odds are high wavians will fit. What city are you in? Sportsman’s Warehouse stocks Wavian cans. You can return it 1 minute later if you walk out to the parking lot and it doesn’t fit.
