SoCal Tear Drop Owners! Post up!

I wonder why they don't use larger diameter wheels and tires on it? In their video when winching the trailer through the sand it seems like more of a plow. I ordered the pneumatic jack wheel with my 510 and am hoping it'll stand up to winching the trailer through mud/sand/etc.

    Expedition Overland - 2015 Season

Reminds me of why Gunther Holtorf rebuffed potential sponsors, "Sponsorship was offered but sponsorship is never free of charge." Nevertheless XO is a great show, they've got me hooked.

SoCal Tear Drop Owners! Post up!

I originally contacted SoCal in early May and they said the first available slot was December but referred me to Jon advising he might have a faster build time, which he did. Nobody likes to wait, myself included. Last time I felt like this was 30 years ago around Christmas! Only real difference...

SoCal Tear Drop Owners! Post up!

Hey everyone, I'm eagerly awaiting a well-optioned 510 from Jon at CCT; looking like delivery in early September. I haven't been able to crawl inside one but figured since it'll be myself (6'2"), my girlfriend (6'), and her two little wiener dogs the larger size would be more comfortable for us...
