Effect of Tires and Lift on Braking

Give the FZJ80 brake booster a try. It's a popular mod on the 70 series and should decrease pedal effort.

    OZTent - inside pics please

The aluminum frame goes around 3 sides. On my RV-5, the frame portion to the rear of the tent comes about 1 foot from rear wall. The left and right side are right at the edge. I haven't noticed any sharp edges that would puncture a mattress. Not mine but this thread has a pic of the inside...

Anybody here ever gone from an LR 3/4 to a 200 series Land Cruiser?

Though you might not be interested in the extra bells and whistles, try looking at the Lexus LX570, which is a 200 series. In the US, they sold twice as many LX570's than LC200's.

    Rubber vs Metal Valve Stems

I'm okay with mandated TPMS on newer cars. Just make it defeat-able with a push of a button please. :)

    Rubber vs Metal Valve Stems

Some vehicles with TPMS have rubber valve stems. And some have no TPMS sensor in the wheel but rather use the ABS sensors to detect a difference in tire diameter/pressure.

    Rubber vs Metal Valve Stems

Can't do this with a metal valve stem. Not sure how well it really works though. I've read mixed reviews.

Doesn't the iPad Mini plus cellular have Assisted-GPS just like the rest of the cellular iPads? Assisted as in using cell towers for quick location and true GPS satellites for navigation?

    Best Glamping Mat

I think they might all give you about similar comfort. However, the Exped mat is much wider than the other two... and that makes it more luxurious. I liked the Exped enough to buy three of them for the family. They link together nicely with it's squared off edges. My only complaint about them...

Request: photos of child seats in the back of your 80

Take a look at the Diono car seats. They sit a little more upright, lower and slimmer than most car seats. The frame is steel and allows for a less bulky seat. I can fit 3 across in our 5 series BMW.
