Future Toyota 4x4s for the US Market

My guess is that 76 series would run $50-55k in the US.

    Toyo OPEN COUNTRY A/T II

If tread depth is an indication of extreme, that size has a tread depth of 17/32.... the range of tread depth for the ATII is 12 to 17/32nds.

Any interest in 16 X 6 Toyota steel wheel - 5 lugs for 78/79 or 105 series in the USA

Since this wasn't a For Sale thread, I'll link Grease Cruiser's thread. $10/ea and they are not exactly flying off the shelves... or so it seems. http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/76639-Toyota-split-rims

Any interest in 16 X 6 Toyota steel wheel - 5 lugs for 78/79 or 105 series in the USA

Are these the split rim type? If so, they should fit the IFS LC100 but I don't think there will be many takers. Do you know the offset? Pictures?

What kind of G-Wagen will $15-20k buy?

    Well, thanks, that explains it.

What kind of G-Wagen will $15-20k buy?

I don't know about g-wagens but all the cars I've owned with trip computers have posted MPG as optimistic by 1-2 mpg. I don't mean to be a naysayer but I'd like to know if your results are the same after 1) checking speedo calibration and 2) manually calculating MPG's via mileage traveled...

    Sunrader 4x4 in Northern California

That is pretty rare. What IS the going rate for a Sunrader with 81k miles?

    Toyo OPEN COUNTRY A/T II

The 285/75R17 is a bit of an oddball size. The 35/12.5/17 will probably outsell it 3:1. Compare the 35/12.5/17 in the 18, 19 and 20" versions and I'm sure the price will go higher even though theoretically, the 17" version should require less material to manufacture.

Feeler: 1997 mild built LC values?

I would say Fireguy's 80 was a bit more than mild... and clean! http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/81210-Fireguy-s-Well-Built-Land-Cruiser-80-with-low-miles-FS!?highlight=fireguy

    LandTank Rear LCA's - Review

Nice! I like the use of OEM bushings and went that way as well. Be sure to not torque down the nuts until your 80 is at it's regular ride height, otherwise, you'll have additional tension on the bushings.

Dual Battery Systems in the LX470?

Anthony, Yes, as the years went on, the LC and LX became more similar. However, I don't think even the '07 LC has memory seats. The special keys can be cut by even Ace Hardware. As far as interior, the special edition LX bird's eye maple wood looks the best by a large margin, it's a toss up...

Dual Battery Systems in the LX470?

Yes, auto recirc starting in '98. To add to the original topic, sourcing an Australian or GCC spec cyclonic airbox will also allow room for a 2nd battery on the passenger side. Note in the picture the presence of the AHC reservoir (PS near firewall). Remove the pump and you'll have room for 3...

Dual Battery Systems in the LX470?

Rob, I signed up for your site but it looks like I have to wait till you approve the account. I'll just post a few more differences here and you can update. In Japan, the Cygnus Land Cruiser was the luxury model of the Land Cruiser with most all the bells and whistles. The US market Lexus LX470...
