Used jeep prices are pretty close to buying new so resale shouldn't hurt you too much. Would imagine if you ended tour on east coast you would probably do okay on j30 resale as there are not many on the east coast.
Great info, thanks. I definitely titled it wrong but I can't change it now. Add on question, could I get a deep cycle battery and a cheaper starter battery? I have read that is not the best but not quite clear on the long term 'bad'. I am good with the cooler not making it through the weekend...

I won a genesis dual battery system for my jeep jkur. It requires 2 group 34 batteries, cost is a huge factor for me right now so I am looking for something that will get me through a weekend of camping running a 12v cooler and lights mostly without breaking the bank. Appreciate any...
I have the CRD Liberty. It is a good vehicle, the Selec trac (full time 4wd) is great and I average mid 20s with mixed driving (can get 30s on flat highway) all with 2" lift plus AT tires. Just be aware they do need some love to keep them going and not many people work on them. If you are...
Yep saw that one, it was excellent and led to my questions about the pressure. Trying to keep it a little simpler in regards to controlling the heat which is why I think I am going to loop into the output side. Did you consider the output side of the heater core and if so what drove your...
Great info, thanks. I think I am going to go output side so I can control temperature. From the picture I am guessing the output is the lower hose based off the upper being the intake but I will figure it out when I get in there. Again thanks.
I got a great deal on synergy's sit shower shave vehicle water heater kit that I am going to install on a 2012 JKUR.
I have the installation instructions and I have a couple of questions:
- the kit has caps to cover the water side inlet/outlet for when you are not using it. I had read on...
Dang. I was hoping they were interchangeable so I could use my storage containers. Oh well guess I will have to stick with the rotopax. They don't happen to make storage containers like the rotopax do they?
Yep tracking the loss of 4:1. I bought the Rubicon because I got a great price and I really wanted the lockers. I really haven't used any of it as much as I would like but I use the full time all of the time so I think for me it makes sense.
I mounted a 11 lbs tank on one of the side mounts on the driver side when I went to overland expo. Only issue I ran into was explaining it to the border patrol guys at one one of the highway stations. They were just curious/confused mostly. I think mine propane mount is a power tank one. I also...
I thought I saw in one thread you said these cans could be mounted on the rotopax mounts? Can rotopax be mounted on the mounts for these cans? I use the rotopax storage containers but I like these better for gas so it would be great if they were interchangeable.
Thanks, I tried a couple of jeep forums and either get no response or a lecture about how great the current transfer case is. I was hoping with the combination of jeep types here maybe I might catch a larger knowledge pool. Appreciate the link, I will try there again as well too.
