My LX also has this problem. Wait, maybe it's just me?

    Rickashay's 97' LX450 - "Tom Cruiser" Build Thread

Snuck out to the Crownsest for a day. Last day of summer was yesterday, technically speaking, but you wouldn't guess judging by the amount of color on the trees. Fall seems to be ahead of itself this year, despite our hot temperatures during the day. We were out on a mission for the CT4WD...

The War Wagon: A 2005 Toyota Tundra AC's transformation to Overlanding Rig

Haven't tuned into this thread in a while... the truck has come a long ways and you've given me a lot of excellent ideas. I'm going to start collecting parts for my 04' Tundra build right away and will be referencing this thread often as this is definitely one of the most well thought out and...

WeatherTech Digifit Front Floor Mats for FZJ80 are now available!

I went with the black ones with my LX450 Oak Interior. If you ask me, the black mats are a nice bit of contrast and match the panels around the HVAC system and steering column etc. (assuming you dont have woodgrain trim).

WeatherTech Digifit Front Floor Mats for FZJ80 are now available!

Ordered a set for the front. I must admit I am a little dissapointed with fitment and the fact the front mats dont fully reach over the door sill in order to drain water properly. Fitment was more snug on my 98' 4Runner set and the set in my Subaru. However, they are still the best mats...

    Rickashay's 97' LX450 - "Tom Cruiser" Build Thread

A few updates... Have been too busy to really do much work on the 80. However I did install the new Fox IFP shocks. Designed for 3-6" of lift I was a little worried about their lengths with my truck being around the 3" mark, maybe even slightly lower. I have flexed the truck out a few times now...

    2000, 100 series build

How are you finding the torsion-bar IFS compared to your coil IFS Tacoma? Any noticeable difference in ride quality between the two systems? Notice any major difference in front wheel travel between the two platforms? I know the 1st Gen Tacoma IFS isnt anything spectacular but is the torsion bar...

    seanpistol's 01 Tundra

I saw your t100 gear plan wont work out, but do you think it will be that bad on 35's and stock gears? A lot of my buddies with 2nd Gen Tacomas run 35's and stock gears with the 4.0L V6. Not optimal but I bet the 2UZ would do fine until you can get some 4.88's or 4.56's.

My 04' Tundra Mistress - Keep my LX or Build the Tundy

Well, I got my Fox shocks installed on my 80. I must admit the ride is substantially better than the L shocks. I just think the valving was very mismatched for my particular setup. Still doesnt fix how gutless the truck is though... especially since I just bought a 05' Subaru Legacy GT and did a...

A Fair Farewell - An Exceptional Weekend in the Crowsnest Pass, AB

Lol He's probably still regretting the move! Thanks! Those are some big standards... IntrepidXJ's photos are incredible. Yah lots of fun with a larger group. Sometimes you move a little slower but this particular group had a lot of experience so it was excellent. We were back and forth over...

    2000, 100 series build

Great, now I want a 100-Series. fml. Talk about a fast paced build.... the whole combination came out excellent. That rear bumper hints of my 4x4 Labs rear. Well well done!

    Rickashay's 97' LX450 - "Tom Cruiser" Build Thread

Lol! However, that would mean that I would have to get up to 88 MPH, which I'm not sure the LX is capable of.... no matter how long the straight stretch. haha

TundraBirds Go! Picture Thread for Tundras and T-100s

I have almost those identical wheels on my LX450, just the "matte" finish. A couple weeks ago I pulled my spare 35" MT/R Kevlar and SCS wheel off the rear bumper and did a "test" fit on the Tundra. I must admit, it looked totally ************. Although I almost ripped the front bumper off when trying...
