yes simply because i dont want to get into anything custom. Sorry, but that stuff = $$$$ and on an old tyruck like this i dont see it being worth it unless serious problems occur.

Hey man thanks for the offer. I cannot run a centered axle because of my gas tank. The style with the early gas tank like mine had a 'slightly' offset diff, something like 3" which was fine with the centered transfer case. Issue is that I moved over a other 2.5" of offset. I would need to find...

Worth checking into both I suppose. I'll ride it a bit though and see how things pan out, then move forward from there. It's something like an 8* angle I think based on whatever length the driveshaft is and a 5.5" offset.

I appreciate the advice on various options, but in all honesty, I'm not interested in having some custom driveshaft built for a $125 axle.
