other options...... do a box in a box (aka a slide out). Also like others mentioned... remove roll up (they are hard to insulate well) and do a door to a door... well in this case... door to a drop..... as in a rear wall with door or slideing window as another mentioned along with a drop down...
Don't plan on anything on top either. As well am a bit of a "reasonable overkill" person myself hmmm ... wait.... does that mean I am an oxymoron.. (reasonable overkill) lol. Am going 1000w but would have been more if I did not pull trigger too fast when I saw 100watt panels on sale and got 10...
sounds like your referring to a typical trucks AC. Split AC is often all electric.... like https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/dc-12v-24v-air-conditioner-split_60508786533.html?spm=a2700.7724857.main07.27.25013470egf4rp&s=p
though some have used ones for Micro Cabin Homes that are 110v...
am I the only one who went "what the helz is that? Like did Cornelius from Planet of the Apes invent some sort of water container?(y):giggle: anyway........ for the others who went "whaaaaaaaaaaaaa?? " https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cornelius_keg
and there in lies the problem. When will sanitation code enforcement rulings start banning their use as they begin realizing they are "compost" toilets only by name there for they in reality are containers of un-treated waste in a large enough amounts to be considered unsanitary to dump them...
"Being Realistic" is first reason why.... a compost toilet in any kind of RV or boat is NOT in reality a true compost toilet. This is because realistically there is not enough time "composting" to have really done much unless the user; when they need to empty the one in their camper, transfers...
Got a link? Looked thru your activity threads in your profile and did not see any split ac threads you had commented in beside this one. there was one on add ac to am OM3152 unimog but that different animal than split ac.
Did you mix the desert poop with any natural compounds like typical compost toilets (wood shavings and the likes?). This will help dry it as well. Was the urine mixed with the poop adding more moisture?
I will be separating the urine before it even reaches the poop and will also be treating...
hmm....... actually...... sounds like a good place to store a sand ladder.... gives it a dual purpose.... ladder block... and well.... as a "sand" ladder.
:devilish:Devils advocate.... you do not need a shower!! You still bath... you just don't need a shower. Use a wash cloth and NO RINSE cleaning products works for NASA and hospitals, and Rehab centers all over the world. If you want to be warm and cozy.... you can warm the bottle you mix it...
easy solution.... hinged door that covers the ladder. Just like all the ones you see at fast food joints and other buildings. Search via favorite search engine for "ladder security door cover guard"
dang..... I screwed up lol.. that is an awesome price. I got 100w panels on sale and three at price I got is still more costly than one of those 325w they sell.
Grid tie is exactly what I want to do as well. How did you get 1300 watt on an ambo roof? didn't think they were large enough for that.
Also...... what will you do with you get some block from shade.... the whole array will drag down to lowest denominator (the shaded section). Or did you...
will be fabricating a lift not buying off the shelf... but each suggested off shelf or not opens up ideas so thanks. One advantage to the hydrolift design .... is it moves the bike forward away from the cab hmmm..... hmmm.. not sure if far enough.... but for quick check things it might be...
thanks.... been thru all the pros and cons.. and decisions are made and set in stone on what box I am using. Honestly there really was not much choice with budget available and the six day work weeks and overtime doing to pay for things. Reality is route you propose literally impo$$ible. Ambo...
thank you but most them do not have a rear door on their aluminum box. Escape hatch is on ceiling or thru a window; as mentioned earlier; have neither. My spare tire is already located behind cab (OEM location, similar to first picture in this thread). Have read comments that many folk "feel"...
