    Man-Powered Recovery

I just watched an episode of Dirty Jobs (Discovery Channel) where Mike, the host, recovered a 11,000 lb Humvee using 6 snatch blocks, a *lot* of rope, a tree and 10 warm bodies. (My counts are not exact.) That is seriously cool! Anyone have a link to an explanation of how to figure what's...

    Roof campers? Please explain

The "speed of setup" point is really hard to believe in until you've used one. I have a hard shell CVT Mt Baker and keep sheets, duvet and pillow (and the ladder) inside. It literally takes 1 minute to be in bed. The other subtle but very important point is the view and airiness afforded by...

Is this a decent recovery setup?

This, of course, makes tons of sense. However, I see some contradiction between "get professional assistance" and "medical aid is not readily available". Lately I have been going much farther into uninhabited areas and there is no "professional assistance" available, period. The most likely...

Darn, I didn't realize the accessories weren't available in NA. I'll hope that TrekboxX comes out with a solution, then. Thanks, A.

    ARB Outback Solutions cost?

Has anyone, in the US or Canada, done a complete ARB storage setup in their 80? I'm talking two drawers (one with a roller top), cargo barrier, divider, shelf and fit kit? I'd like to know a ballpark cost. These products: http://store.arbusa.com/Storage-Solutions-C75.aspx Setup something like...

This is a deal, right? ARB 37-QT for $550 CAD

A distributor in Canada seems to be clearing their inventory and is selling ARB model 10800352, the 37-QT fridge, for $550. I'm pretty this is a really excellent deal, what am I missing? :Wow1:

    Mantec Bridging Ladders

Very, very nice. I think I would want something without the middle joint and aluminum for sure. I wish I could do that kind of work. A.

    Stacking pots

The two sauté pans are Teflon coated. Although I do not use Teflon at home, I find that it's worthwhile when camping to make cleanup with just a rag much easier. I had never seen any true three-ply cookware that nests before, other than the very pricey Magma products. A.

    Stacking pots

I picked up these at Canadian Tire: http://www.lagostina.ca/html/productDetail.asp?idstore=&idpro=446&idcat=27&idsubcat=0 I like them because they are much thicker than anything else I've seen, that nests. A.
