    Inflatable Something or Other?

Are you suggesting they would build a custom raft for me? A.

    Inflatable Something or Other?

To clarify a couple points: - roof is full with my RTT - needs to handle two adults and a 4 year old (when he's too big, we'll go to two boats) The higher end inflatable canoes look pretty nice: http://www.innovakayak.com/store/store.aspx#!/~/product/category=184323&id=465879 Though overkill...

Thinking of switching from dual fuel to propane.

Well, I'm going to hunt for a 414 as I think that most closely fits my needs. Nothing on CL around here, yet. Thanks a lot for taking the time to post the information, very helpful. A.

Thinking of switching from dual fuel to propane.

Say that again!? Is that an optimistic measure? That would be more than enough reason for me to switch back to gas, which I hadn't used since my lightweight backpacking days… A.

Will that handle two-and-a-half people? A.

    Inflatable Something or Other?

I'd like to get myself something that will take the wife, small child and myself around small lakes as an accessory to our truck-based setup. I don't need anything too crazy, but it needs to pack down small enough to fit among the existing gear. Anyone have something similar? A.

    The Post-Propane Lifestyle

Ok, my Propane setup has begun to annoy me. Couldn't thread the hose onto my Primus two-burner stove last weekend. My tank is too large, small tanks are stupidly expensive. Doesn't really work well below freezing. And I'm almost always camped around lots of dead tree matter. So, I'm thinking to...

AT IT AGAIN: Paul and Mike Convert a Mid/Tall T1N Sprinter Cargo

Having camped in hot, fly-prone, weather for a week last season: smelly stuff management is really important! By day 5, we were overrun with them to the point that we considered moving. This was from normal crumbs, garbage bag, dumping a little soup a little too close to camp, etc.

    Tipi vs Tent

Learn to love the cold! No bugs, no tourists, no swamps. What's not to like? :) Many of the other options seem pretty small to me. If it's a base camp for my truck, then bigger is better. Kifaru keeps coming up, so I need to revisit that option. My instinct is that I want a poly-cotton...

New Bumper - Add tire carrier or not?

What manufacturer is that? I want to carry fuel/propane and an armful or firewood. The spare is less important. I do like the storage box idea, like the Aluminess product: A.

    Labels for PU-coated nylon

That's a nicely done set of tags. I might just be interested. I was also contemplating using a Dymo label printer that can print on shrink tubing and have that on simple loops of cord.

    Labels for PU-coated nylon

uni Paint Markers, even come in white! So I started down that Google road: Pentel Felt Tip White Marker X100-W Might work as well. Thanks, A.

    Labels for PU-coated nylon

I have polyurethane-coated nylon dry bags and duffle bags. I would like to clearly label them, since I frequently have my stuff mixed into the back of a truck when on a SAR mission. Any ideas how to label soft PU-coated goods? I have a stencil with my name, which I use with spray-paint on...

How large is your Kifaru? Would it fit a double cot plus a single cot?

    Tipi vs Tent

The lady and I have been camping with a CVT hard shell RTT and awning, which has been excellent. Now we want to extend our season into the colder temperatures. -20°C to -35°C (-4°F to -31°F) is pretty normal in winter north if Ottawa. Since the last couple of times we tried it, she froze solid...

    Post up your drawer/storage system

Anyone have side opening toolboxes in their truck cap, that would partially encumber a set of drawers if you wanted to go double-height?

    Cold Weather Shelter

This is what I've been leaning towards. So far, I've looked at the very difficult to setup wall tents and the easy to setup but very costly Tentipi (and others). Also, the Alaska Oven. Had not looked lat Springbar, that's my next stop… Thank you, A.
