IMO with a camper on these trucks you should have a digital rear view mirror anyways.
This solves all of these problems and gives you a clear view.
Several options out there. I am using a Rexing M2 without issue.
So it's just held out by its own weight? There isn't a bar that runs from the top of the pivoting piece to the top of the tent? Do you guy it down to the ground with rope and stakes?
If not, what keep this from flapping/moving/pivoting in the wind? Hard to believe that unsupported, this tent...
Agree with plh.
What are you powering?
How long is off-grid to you?
How much space do you have?
How much money do you have?
A lot of us have helpful knowledge to share, but we need a better target.
I have the exact same watch, and it is simply stellar. I do a lot of hiking and biking GPS tracking, so my actual battery life is usually on the order of ~7 days, but it charges from the USB cable in such a short amount of time. It is a fantastic piece of kit.
I am in a similar situation to you, and I also carry bikes on the back of my truck permanently now. They are rack based from the hitch, and there are two of them.
I have noticed no difference in tank mpg's with the bikes added to the back. I am a bit familiar with the suction effect of the air...
Lol.
I literally brought Newton, and an equation into my example, and you still mention emotions over facts. Phew.
You respond to rruff, another guy who used numbers and math mind you, again with the 'emotions over a logical, factual comparison' argument, demanding he performs a C&D level set...
Oh man, the fear-mongering in here is simply something to behold!
Do you share the same disdain for those who exceed the speed limit? You must certainly never exceed the speed limit yourself, as MY family may be on the road right next to you. We are certainly familiar with Newtons second law of...
I'll chime in with what I have experienced:
I am in the moderately overweight category, though certainly not in the 1,300 lb. dry category (that's too much IMO).
I went all out with my suspension. Fronts are Radflo 2.5" extended travel shocks with compression adjustment on the reservoir...
I am not OP, but look closely at the back of his truck, where the camper and the bumper meet. His one photo shows it well.
Then checkout the fitment of the same CC on a 3rd gen. Notice the horizontal bar below the door? There is also a gap between the bottom of that bar and the bumper itself...
Read this if you have the time/desire. I was just there last September. We spent 8 days and went to all of the extremes of the park (Doll House and Millard).
Happy to answer any questions you may have also.

It is not. This is on the way back to Flint Seep/Hans Flat RS, prior to the switchbacks, on Flint Trail from Millard Point/Maze Overlooks near Golden Stairs.
I haven't seen any thing like this, but I did contemplate adding some sort of pelican-style box to one of my rear molle panels, but I never figured it out to a level that felt worth pursuing.
I finally started to have some rattling from the Alu-Cab table that I installed under my overhang. I noticed this change at the same time that I noticed the legs not quite pressing in to one another, when you close them, in the same way they did when it was new.
To solve the rattling I added...
Agree with others about the camper.
It may just be me, but this little niche market is beginning to bum me out. A lot of poorly designed campers, with BOLD lies right on their front pages; 'minimal impact on fuel economy or handling of your truck' is just so misleading to someone who may not be...
For others contemplating this, I also went this route (as a dish mounting option) on my CC.
I opted to cut off the two sides of the mount that aren't useful with our setups, as we mount them to a single track, not a roof like Starlink details in their literature.
I also painted mine black to...
