Below is the one pic found of what I THINK is an Ambo RV conversion with a Permanent rear Bunk/Loft Bed. It could be a shuttle? Anyone have more pictures of this rig? Have not been able to find it.
Also seeking any other bunk/loft pictures, (especially loft)

odds are these things are lighter than a boat. Plastic shell with foam inside is about all they are. The are like a large Coolman Cooler that comes in sections and you bolt them together.
found ONE pic of what I THINK is an Ambo RV conversion though it could be a shuttle? That has a rear loft bed... Anyone have more pictures of it? Have not been able to find it. Of course any other bunk/loft pictures, especially loft, would be appreciative as well.

Actually I don't know lol. Only been in Nevada open areas. Not really Desert-ish I don't think. Up north Near Reno. Also in AZ hills four wheeling. Shade was not tree's per say but in tucking behind hill and dale? Is that what you refer too? If so .. that grey of a shade you compensate...
It's the desert..... you think your going to find a tree large enough to park under??? don't think so.
But having read a post that mentioned that too as well... got me thinking of two things.. one two layers.. maybe three. Top layer permanent fix, Bottom of two layers slides out and tilt...
Well I've settled on the combination of diesel fired coolant heater and the SHA for wood burning or waste oils*. Another advantage with SHA is can take it outside under awning to if wanted.
*Wood burned in SHA 99% of the time till I get my trailer built that will house an Alt. fuel...
Maybe get a custom tarp you can Velcro in place when you know you will be in dusty places. Velcro it in from inside or outside...... whatever is easiest. I guess. If you use a rear ladder like the one lqhikers did.. maybe put it on barn door wheels somehow so you can roll it side to side to...
This is NOT one of THOSE diesel ones lol. It is a custom. 418cc with CVT belt drive. Trust it for longevity way more than the HDT. Not as fast... but you can get PARTS for it. lol
Coleman's just got some in some SAH and were cheaper than those on ebay and craigslist so I ordered one. Also discovered the SAH was only one of the more modern that had the solid (wood etc) fuel option and that is what I will probably use the most sooooo.... That is what I'm getting. Thinking...
it is 19F outside. Though that temps that low only shows up for a few weeks a year total. Will get below zero her later this week. But then again.. my only true long vacation falls.... when those temps fall too (pardon the pun)
Cab is separate from Ambo Box in my situation. Installing...
Thank you. Am well aware of that model and specifically do NOT want that one. It does not allow for solid fuel burning (Wood etc). Will be extending chassis a little to accommodate a 14.5 foot camper box.

This has been around awhile..... but keeps missing the mark of actually getting into production. I guess more folk show interest the better chance.

ps... I searched this board and was shocked it did not show up in here.... (or I used wrong terms)...
That is interesting. Curious, how much are they the same? Just in concept.. or did it appear to be same springs and bolt size etc. I know trucks with water tanks on them use the same set up. http://www.watertrucks.com/prod_details.asp?id=UTETANKMTKIT
well there is thinking outside the box..... then then there is thinking inside the box...... think you done and did both at the same time. Great complete use of a resource.
Before you put the floor in... would be good time to consider doing Hydronic floor heating such as http://www.skoolie.net/forums/f51/hydronic-radiant-heating-in-a-bus-9024.html There is of course many threads on this board on this topic too.
