Tiny BBQ's. Any good ones? Worth bringing?

based on the suggestion from dms1 I picked up one of those ecoque grills but in the 12" size. I've used it twice so far and it works really well. Only needs 9 charcoal briquettes and it cooks hot for a couple hours. Perfect size for 2 people, anymore and you'd probably want the 15" version...

What's your go to blanket for camping?

I splurged and bought a Rumpl Super Fleece http://www.gorumpl.com/products/super-fleece-blanket?variant=30280178503 Probably paid way too much but it's definitely the nicest and most comfortable blanket I've used. The wife doesn't find it quite warm enough when it gets below 40 or 50 though...

    ExPo 70 Series Registry

I wish I had gotten pics but I didn't want to be too invasive while they were setting up camp. I saw the nicest 75 series yesterday outside Lillooet, BC yesterday. It was driven by a Swiss couple traveling from Alaska to South America (if I understood them correctly) and taking a few years to...

Inspired by box rocket I went out to the Uintas and connected 2 of my favorite trout streams via dirt roads. Parked here in the dark not totally sure where I was and woke up to some nice views.

I just need to boil water for coffee, what stove?

Jetboil with the french press accessory that packs neatly inside it. Compact, reliable, affordable and boils water really quickly.

FS: 1989 Ford E250 Sportsmobile with a brand new engine

Sure, I'll grab some and send them to you directly since it's just a normal rear hitch bolted to the front and I'm guessing you're asking because you want to do it to yours and not because you're interested in the van itself.

FS: 1989 Ford E250 Sportsmobile with a brand new engine

She's a 1989 SMB that was converted when new by SMB in Texas. 2wd. In really good shape for her age. A fresh remanufactured 351W long block was just installed by the local Ford dealership and it has less than 50 miles on it so far, this was done after a bearing failure in the bottom end...

    Edgestar Fridge Modifications Thread

I got my tie downs from KK6POV. They aren't really meant to work wth the Edgestar travel bag but I just bolted them down on top of it and it seems to work OK. I don't see myself taking the bag off very regularly anyways. I ditched the crappy stock handles and made some new ones out of 550...

What is everyone using to power their portable fridges?

Corey, does that solar panel connect straight to the battery or is there a charge controller in between? I thought you risk over charging the battery w/o the charge controller but maybe with a smaller panel it's OK?

I'm tired of crappy Sun Showers....any good ones out there?

if you want to stick with the hanging bag style but want one that doesn't spring leaks and is far more durable than the coleman/walmart ones I've had good luck with this one. great reviews on it as well...

    Edgestar Fridge Modifications Thread

I guess I need to give mine a closer look, I don't remember seeing a plug. The other reason I was wondering about these being waterproof is it doesn't look like the metal liner is 1 piece, I can see where mine has some kind of caulk or sealant at the edges and it doesn't look like they did a...
