    Nullifier's budget garage make over

Thanks it is a well used and well loved boat. It has a great story of build and how it ended up in my hands but that is reserved for a riverside campfire.

    Nullifier's budget garage make over

So after day 2 or should I say a 1/2 day 2. I had to take my daughter to the Doc this morning, and swing by work so I did not get started till 1. However I made some decent progress. First I hung my paddle rack on the wall. It is behind the canoe to utilize that dead space. Next I started...

    Nullifier's budget garage make over

Thanks for the tip but that big 17' canoe is only 45 lbs. If I was hoisting a rtt or topper I would be all over it. Plus I need it of to the sidewal so I can park my truck in the garage when this is all said and done. With only an 8' cieling it would be to low.

    Nullifier's budget garage make over

Yep but it will be one or the other. I do not want to stretch the chassis and add the excab. Might as well just buy an x-cb for all that ya know. If I do the xcab I will save te bed for my new truck hopefully next year but not sure depends on $

    Nullifier's budget garage make over

LOL it is amazing isn't it. I am taking it down to my office to store it in the warehouse, but I have been considering moving ahead with that project once the garage is set up. We will see.

Well guys it is time to get my garage in order. I have let things get totally out of control. It has become the dumpingground of tools outdoor gear and junk lol! So today I got a wild hir and started the make over. As you can see the first thing I needed was a plan. So first I made a list of...

    The pillow thread

All the compressable camp pillow suck. I use a temperpedic. It goes in my Storm case on top of my clothes. MMMM just the thought of it makes me want to go camping but it's to hot here in Fl still. A few more months for my camp temperpedic.

    OldSven's 4Runner

Sorry for the Hijack but I use 2 of these lights in my OZtent one in the tent one in the front porch. They are great and last a lot of nights on the batteries! We had a rare power outage the other night for about 4 hours. Went into the garage poped out the Brunton's and we sat around playing...

I thiought that would be the case. It loks like the longer arb rack would accomodate the oztent no problem though.

    trooper trail shots

What size oztent do yo have and how well does it fit in your rack. That looks like an arb rack? Is that one made for the trooper or did you modify it.

    Military case

I bought this case awhile back to use as my emergency grab and go kit. I now have another set up now but this box is awesome. This thing is a large size and will hold all your gear. It is perfect for use as a large camp kitchen box or hold all your basic camping gear in the one place. I...

    Flip Pac Fiberglass

I used to work for a composite company and can tell you this. A large flat composite surface hooked to a hinge will flex a fair amount . This not abnormal and I would expect a fair amount if eeking and creeking to be normal. As for "seeing the fiberglass", this is usually a product of up to 3...

    Gear Me?

If it is an auto you will want to go a minimum of 4.88. I assume your rig is 3.4 v6 with auto in which case 4.88 will be ok Scott was running 5.29 on his tacoma which should have the same drivetrain.

    Why skinny tires

less tire wieght and width = less rolling resistance = better mileage. Hieght gets you more clearance reguardsless of width and most of the flotation achieved by airing down is accomplished by the diameter of the tire rather then the width. Scott has a write up about this on www.expeditionswest.com
