That would be correct yes. And the C&C chassis has straight frame rails from the cab back. They don't vary in width and there is no "hump" over the wheel area.
I believe at the moment the C&C layout is the same for all the Big 3, but I'm not sure how far back that holds true. So modern ambo...
Keep in mind that site is listing measurements for regular pickup trucks AND cab n chassis trucks. An F-350 standard type pickup has wider frame rails than an F-350 C&C.
Isn't there a Canadian converter that goes by the name of Clydesdale or something like that? I seem to recall they do 4x4 conversions on the Ford series but maybe they do others. Might be worth a call, and maybe they can point you to a used market.
Somebody you might talk to is MGmetalworks here on this site. What you most likely need is a chassis print that has measurements you're looking for.
A box made for a cab n chassis would probably be different for one made to drop on a standard p/u, even a dually. I seem to recall that frame...
If you really really want to match a color drive it over to your local automotive paint supplier. The place supplying the body shops in town. They should be able to match whatever sample you want matched and stuff it in a spray can for you, and generally not that bad on cost. Plus side is...
Hehe. There's always a handful of "those guys" who have the exact same engine as everyone else but somehow manage to get twice the fuel mileage. Over on Ford-trucks.something the V10/6.4 seem to be the worst. "I'm getting 21mpg with my 6.4 on 44s!" Yeahhhh.
Two things in the world a...
I'm guessing these were painted after the fact, since all the welds are painted over. It doesn't really matter, SS or not, because I'm no pro either and didn't pay the price anyway.
For something really controversial, how 'bout that election huh? :lurk: (It's a joke. No answer expected!)
Way back for me. Last time I chowed on a Naugles breakfast burrito was about 1983. Me and a buddy used to make chow runs out the back gate of base when we worked the night crew. Had some awesome strawberry shakes too.
I did the barbed wire thing once. Not a boatload of fun, hehe. And although it's not all that damaging, you haven't really lived till you take a leak on an electric fence. Did that once and I swear I saw God, Muhammad, and Santa Claus all at the same time.
Stuck like white on rice. I figured it wasn't premium SS, I mean it comes from China AND it's just a toolbox, but I did that test at the store. My little mag based light stuck to both versions just the same. Pretty sure they're the same cheap SS, one painted and one not.
Either way I didn't...
Not sure if they're new, but I've got sneaky suspicion that under the paint they're SS as well. The SS versions are absolutely identical. I mean genetic twin carbon copies of each other except the paint. I know a key to assembly line style manufacturing is don't change the program. I'd be...
Yeah, power tools are no joke. ******** can go south real fast when you aren't careful.
Not tool related but your scar reminds me of this dude that used to work for me. Guy could take his shirt off and pass for a real life Frankenstein monster. Scars every freakin place with a real beaut that...
Dude that's awesome! A year from now you can tell all the newbs around here some BS about the night you took on The Crips and The Bloods in a Del Taco parking lot and sent 'em all screaming like little girls, with a 6' blade sticking out of your chest. :)
This is van related. Sure!

That top box weighs about 175# Way heavier than I would have figured. I picked them up Lowes as an impulse buy. They were on sale for $600 for a top/bottom set so I bought 2 sets. I have this mish-mash of Craftsman toolboxes, and it seems like no...
The goal isn't the issue. It's what happens to all that money AFTER the goal is met. That's when you become an investor, hoping their business model is sound, hoping the product actually gets manufactured, and hoping the marketing promises are what actually get delivered.
