very cool!
Nice looking truck, any problems with the canvas top? Theft?
Great pictures! Awesome you took your dog, I travel with mine also.
*edit: never mind about theft question. I see you have a cage built under the canvas. Very cool indeed!
cool story and congrats!
What is your shipping port destination?
I have a 1985 Nissan Patrol in the Brisbane area that I need to get shipped on over here to this side of the pond. I prefer Long Beach but maybe we can share a container?
well since we are this topic....
some people crap more than others too yeah know. I know people (who I have lived with) who can use up a roll in maybe 2 days. Me? Same roll lasts me at least 2 weeks! :Wow1:
When traveling...once every 3-7 days. A wash up every day is nice though using the MSR water bladder and the super small nozzle.
At home, every other day. I am not a dirty or stinky person and believe in conserving water. Soap, I like anything made from tea tree oil at home or traveling...
sweet Patrol but it needs a lift and some bigger rubber! A turbo and intercooler would also do it well. Looks like the 4.2L diesel though which is excellent.
Also appears to have the H260 (1ton) rear diff which I do believe is standard in a Patrol pick-up.
I got an 04 with auto & stock gears and 285's. No problems at all, not slow or lacking. Then again....
I have heavy engine mods including a S/C.
No trimming on my truck and only rubs on my front mud flaps at full compression. I do have a 2.5" lift. Milage is crap in my truck but with a S/C...
I have a S/C on my 04 Taco....along with the URD 7th, Doug Thorely Headers, URD pulley and a Jardine exhaust. It is fricken sweet and I love it. No I am not a rich kid who got it just to be cool.
Most people are going to tell you a S/C is not a good choice for an overland truck and really they...
I think I took a picture in this exact same spot when I took my trip to Panama last year. On the Mex200 just south of San Juan de Alima.....

That is a bummer.....having a non-legal USA TLC stolen that you are trying to sell! What are the chances of that!? :Wow1:
Wouldn't think it wold be hard to find seeing as it is a non-USA spec truck. Hopefully it didn't get taken to the hills for a joyride and then bonfire. Fingers crossed.....
Those 3Gs sure take nice pictures....
I use my cell phone pictures mostly for work but here is a few from my Blackberry.
Small forest fire near Granite Creek, Wyoming a few weeks back.
