What they didnt say...

Spent some time in that neck of the woods. Weed CA is an old tiny town. Named after Abner Weed who was a big merchant in the area. It is in Siskiyou County. Not too far from OR border in one direction and at base of Mt. Shasta in other direction. A Chinook being in that area makes a...

    Spray foam vs sheets

Did some reading on these bulk spray foams like that in previous post. Not the can stuff. R factor is higher than can stuff. BUTT Think there is a fire retardancy issue. If recall right to meet reasonable fire safety they must have an air space before interior wall AND be covered with and...

    Unique diesel 4x4 expedition camper

Box on that LMTV must have cost him a pretty penny to have jumped the price up so far above what that truck would have cost from a Govt. Liquidation site in 2016. (anywhere from 4 grand to 8 grand?) Granted maybe a ton of work was done on the truck too?

    Onboard washer/dryer... worth it?

If am not mistaken some European machines are washer and dryer all in same tub. Also less water cause the tub sloshes thru a pond of soap/rinse water at bottom of tube instead of filling whole tub as traditional ones sold in north America. So save space AND uses less water. Oh and Jean...

Looking for advice: adapting a Casita '16 to 2007 Fuso FG

Consider mounting trailer facing backward. Tounge end facing the rear. While with a Casita it may make no difference in look or may make just a sublte difference that makes all the difference. Looked at many trailers for this idea and for sure on most IMHO mounted back assward makes the...

    The Bush Winch

This concept has been around for decades. Farmers use to winch their tractors out this way. Old School always once again become New School. Best to do it on both tires... one won't work unless you have lockers. Two.. it is better for suspenion, Axle mounts, tranny, Ujoints, engine mounts etc...
