After 32k miles, I've gone through two drivers side sway bar end links, currently on my third. One of those was before I even lifted the truck. However, I recently removed my front sway bar so that should no longer be an issue. The handling characteristics of the truck did not change that much...

I have had a similar issue with my Xterra since it was in its infancy. It is likely one of two things: either your front sway bar bushings or endlinks (both of which are easily replaceable), or the spacer washers that go on your lower control arm bolts (cheap replacement, but not as easy to do)...
