1 - AWESOME!
2 - Current weight with the AT, spare tire/Wilco combo, loaded box, fuel, etc.?
3 - Any thoughts yet comparing the Habitat vs. the original CVT solution? Not focusing just on the sleeping arrangement but on the overall trailer/tent solutions overall....
Beautiful pics, thanks...
Your trailer find/updates reminds me (in a very positive way) of this thread (an absolute favorite).
You bought an inexpensive, gear-hauling trailer that you're making your own and actually using. Well done...(y)
Nice rig! I really like those rims.
Pics can be funny, those two shots showing all the suspension flex appear to be on relatively flat ground. It almost looks as though your suspension is completely broken.... :-)
Hey there, just saying hi. Been a while since I bought that spare tire carrier from you for my 80 (which I sold a while back).
Did you ever finish college?
Knowing you're also a mountain biker, I picked up a 2018 Trek Remedy 8 last week - love it!
Take care man....

...and tailgates suck when you're short - I could never reach a damn thing with my FJ80, at least now I stand a chance with the GX barn door when reaching in to retrieve goods. Ha!
No dog in this fight (re: which is better - they're ALL great products from Mr. T) but I couldn't be happier...
You gave up on the wood-sided idea.....was hoping to see that happen (I've got that same picture pinned, always liked that look).
BTW, I'm of average height (aka short to most folks)....(y)
WELL DONE!
Quick read, I thought there's no way a Jeep can get around on 40's (esp. with a trailer also on 40's) and then you mentioned the LS3. Great setup!
Another nod to the GX470 as a candidate. Formerly owned a '92 FJ80 and loved everything about it (minus actually going on a long, hilly road trip in it)......but the V8 in the GX along with 3rd row, comfy seats, great ride and stereo, ease of lift/offroad packaging, etc. made it a great...
Haven't checked your progress in a long while. Great update - really like your build!
Thx for the vids - if a picture's worth 1000 words, a video's worth 1000 pictures ?.
This? His is the Schutt aluminum frame trailer, might not be what you were after. I linked to Post #116 where he really starts getting serious about having to narrow down his frame.
