The MC235 is what I have on my trailer works like a charm, it is going to make your trailer tongue longer. If you don't want that then I would go with the MC100. I personally like the added length to the tongue though.

I had the same issue with my tongue box. If you look at the lid side there is a screw that holds the latch into position. You can try adjusting that to get it to latch. I did have to add another screw to it to keep if from moving out of place.

It depends on your gear ratio. The 3.21 gears is 1,000 pounds, so I would not tow with it. The 3.73 and 4.10 gears are 2,000 pounds. That is also if you have the factory tow upgrades. I would be ok with towing it with the 2000lbs gear ratios as long as you are careful on how you loaded it and...
