Got under my rig and did some measurement's since this tank interested me as well hehe. The only way you could fit this in there would be if you removed the rear hitch assy and its still really close you would have to be really careful with pipe placement. I know for a fact the 9 gallon is what...
The MC235 is what I have on my trailer works like a charm, it is going to make your trailer tongue longer. If you don't want that then I would go with the MC100. I personally like the added length to the tongue though.
My understanding is that you cannot get them without the wheels/tires anymore. Has to do with them getting in some hot water with DOT. Maybe check with 4wheelparts.com. That's where I got mine and they where the cheapest I could find. I did do some haggling with them since I have a local branch...
I had the same issue with my tongue box. If you look at the lid side there is a screw that holds the latch into position. You can try adjusting that to get it to latch. I did have to add another screw to it to keep if from moving out of place.
I use my rear jacks all the time. I can never find level land to park on where I camp lol. So I use them to level the trailer out so I'm not sliding out of bed in the middle of the night.
If you didn't like the quality of the Gen 1 I wouldn't buy the Gen 2 the quality is gonna be close to the same. Just a new design. That said also remember you can buy two of the new Smittys for the price of one CVT.
I did have to modify the new unit to get it to match up with the mounting plate. It wasn't more then drilling out four holes and then using a jig saw to cut the metal in-between the original holes and the new ones. It is way heavier then the original jack the shipping label says 63lbs. The...
So made an upgrade to the trailer today. Found out that ARK makes another offroad jack that is higher then the other ones I have seen on here. Its max height is 32.5inches which works great with my truck and trailer set up. I am running 35" tires on both. This model has the tires straight down...
It depends on your gear ratio. The 3.21 gears is 1,000 pounds, so I would not tow with it. The 3.73 and 4.10 gears are 2,000 pounds. That is also if you have the factory tow upgrades. I would be ok with towing it with the 2000lbs gear ratios as long as you are careful on how you loaded it and...
I would buy it if I could but I own the old style trailer where the front end might fall off. So it won't work with my trailer, make sure you have the new version or it won't work.
I would love to have the 35 gallons sitting up top. I have thought about that a lot. But I am not sure Smittybilt wanted 280lbs sitting on top of that thin metal box they made.
Ya but said support brackets are also keeping me from getting a kick ass water tank I have been wanting. My opinion is everyone should be sent out the updated draw bar. Problems solved.
I was so excited for this. But looking at it, it is only for the updated trailer with the new draw bar design. Which means about 99% of us on here can't use it. We all have the ******** draw bar that's gonna cost us a tow one day.
I did the same thing. I feel like it makes backing the trailer in a bit easier then it was. But its not a huge difference. The longer version is 18 inches and the original is 6 so you only gain a foot. But for only $15 more a figured what the hell. Here is a link to their website. you will have...
