Also to be fare to my family when we go out as a family its usually group trips. We have a lot of tent campers that also use our sink to do their dishes, because of the hot water. So even though I feel like I'm always yelling at my kids to shut the water off they might not be the ones using up...
I have thought about this a lot. Any spots available under the trailer are going to do one of two things. One add weight to the tongue weight or Two remove ground clearance. There are some smaller tank options that would not do this but your only going to have 5 gallons of water or so, max 8...

I have not used them one time and it's because I was staying at Pyramid lake in NV and it's all sand. The stabilizers did nothing because they just kept digging deeper and deeper into the sand. I also could not disconnect the trailer from my truck for the same reason lol. So my rig stayed in...
Looks like the NHTSA put a recall in on the trailer. But its because of it missing a proper GVWR label/Vin number. Not because of the tongue breaking. It says all owners/dealers would be notified before Dec 3 2018... funny Smittybilt or 4wheel parts never once contacted me lol...
misubisu this is a known issue for these trailers. I am surprised you haven't seen the posts on here about it because I remember you adding to the forum quite a bit. Contact Smitty they should take care of it. I know they have for others. They sent me out a reinforcement kit to add to the...
I am not sure what ones there are using. But if you dig back to older posts there where a few different versions that others did. I know one of them shared all the info for where to get his.
Ouch if I remember right you installed two 10 gallon tanks in-front of the suspension system. What does the tongue weight go up to with those tanks full?
On the Smittybilt the awning mounts to adjustable slides. So my awning can go from 2 inches away to like 16 inches away. Somewhere buried in these posts someone was having the same problem as you. So they took a block of aluminum and mounted it to the awning mounts. Then they drilled a new hole...
The trailer sitting level or not does change the tongue weight. I was watching a video of a guy weighing his tongue weight. He realized the trailer wasn't sitting level so he lowered it. When he did that the tongue weight increased by almost 20lbs.
Looking at your photo your problem is the hitch side of your vehicle isn't high enough. If you raise that, it would take off all the extra tongue weight your getting. Looking at the photo all the weight of the trailer and what is inside is leaning down right at your hitch.
How long ago did you replace your rear shocks? They usually only last around 60k miles. Most people go way over that. Also a few company's make stiffer rear springs you could also replace them. I have also heard of people putting land-cruiser springs in them to get a bit of a lift in the rear...
By stock you mean the 33's? If so maybe it would work with my set up. If I measure from the ground to the hitch its 27.5 inches of height that I need to get it loaded on the truck. 33's to 35's is an increase of 1" of ground clearance. So that should mean my max height should be 28.75.
