At this point, the trailer will be wider than the tow vehicle, but not by much. Pardon my ignorance on this issue, could you direct me to some posts regarding this issue? That would be a great help.
Thanks,

One possible solution...
I have been pondering this issue today...What if I went with a Mombasa tent (Adventure II) and in lieu of an additional room, go with an Oztent RV-2 or an RV-3 with Deluxe peaked side panels? The ideal would be to snug the tent right up 'into' the awning portion and...
All,
I am now able to proceed with my trailer project. I have been 'chomping at the bit' to start and now my wife has given me the green light (following paying off her '04 Sequioa). Mind you, she has always given me a green light to proceed with the various projects that I have had in the...
My Toyota story...
I will be a loyal Toyota customer for life despite of all of the current events and this is why.
I owned a 1990 Toyota p/u (V6) and got 225,000 miles on it. As some of you know there was a problem with the head gaskets blowing on these v6s due to the incompatible metals...
All,
I am going to pull the trigger on an Outlander Sherpa II trailer this Spring. I was wondering what 'kind' of tire to get. I have Bridgestone Dueler Revo AT that are 'P' rated on my 4runner. Should I go with these 'P' rated ones or get the 'LT' rated ones? Thanks in advance for your...
Can't go wrong with Kirkham...
If this kit is going to be assembled by the folks at Kirkham, you will have a great product. I have their awning and it is really nice. Craftsmanship is exceptional.:wings:
Good luck with your project...

BWJ
Right...I'll get right on that
Helmut,
I don't think that he is questioning your aftermarket support...Chill out.
The way I see it is this. It's the same tent from the same manufacturer, but a 'different' phone for support.

Aggie,
I'm about to proceed with my Sherpa trailer with Robert. I talked to Jacque about his, and he is going to have Robert put on the coil shocks and improve the suspension and get a swing out tire carrier. CANNOT WAIT until I get this trailer set up...:coffee:

Baja Rack is on...
All,
Big props to Baja Rack for making a rack specifically for the 3rd generation 4runner! I have been looking for a rack that would not be so high up from the vehicle roof line and it has taken me over 2 years to find a rack that would fit the bill. I was not looking for...

Did I say that the modding NEVER stops?...

Thanks for your insight. The antennae location was something that Jed (Armorology) and I thought about. The majority of my wheeling consists of deep hardwoods during the hunting and fishing seasons. No real big rocks here in KS, at least where I am at :Wow1:. Since this is my DD, I went a...
Good evening...I have consolidated my three 'build' threads into one...is there a way to delete my previous threads? I hope I didn't jump the gun in doing this. If I did, I apologize.
thanks,

Just installed my SS #1.2 lift...dial-up beware
Well I am back again with some new pics of the rig. I have waited until my tires wore out, then I pulled the trigger. I decided to go with Sonoran Steel's system #1.2 lift; due to the meticulous R&D, as well as Steve's patience throughout this...
Just completed my stubbs slider project...
Back again, and this time it’s the slider project that was completed. Why a ‘project’? Well, the time that was required made it so. Every step was carefully planned and realized with the help of talented professionals. Big props to the people...
I have decided to consolidate all of my build-up threads so here it is...sorry for the initial redundancy...The modding NEVER STOPS! :Wow1:
My ‘journey’ began in March following the acquisition of my 4runner in January. I was fortunate enough to find various forums, like this one, with...
dms1,
Adjustability should be considered very carefully because the magic number for lifting the front with minimal strain on the CV joints is 2". Anything higher than this will cause unnecessary strain on your CV's joints...The length of the strut to achieve 2" is different from year to year...
