I've said it before...Mileage is the absolute last reason for doing a diesel conversion. The cost of a diesel conversion will out-cost any savings in fuel ten-fold.

Kevin's right on here. Gaining fuel economy is the absolute last reason for doing an engine swap. It's a nice bonus but certainly not a reason to embark on a conversion.

You're right. Don't pull the trigger, the gun won't go off. But, perhaps a bit more care needs to be taken holstering a Glock than somthing in a DA/SA with a stronger DA pull. (if we're talking auto pistols) Glocks are great and I have a Glock 19 but I don't think it's the ideal "first gun"...
