No, it's got the original nozzles and injectors. Truth be told it sounds pretty good for an engine who's history I know almost nothing about. Not even sure of the mileage...The guy I got it from said somewhere short of 200k. It seems well cared for with very little crank case pressure.
Those...
Nothing says redneck like a lever gun. Find yourself an old Marlin 39A. Great little .22 that you can pass down to your kids.
The sight of a lever gun is less threatening to the anti-gun crown than to have, say, an AR15 hanging in the back window of your truck. I like to keep one or two...
Put your hands around a P6 (255) if you get a chance. They're only a single stack but fit small hands very well and conceal better than the 226. Might be perfect for your wife and cheap enough that you don't have to worry too much about banging it up. The piles of them that came into the...
In the article I wrote for Overland Journal in the summer '08 edition I account an incident that happened to us in northern Quebec. One afternoon a mature black bear wandered into our campsite looking for something yummy. (We were cooking steak and didn't have enough to share.) He was turned...
I have one in 9mm. The 40's seem to be a bit troublesome.
Yes, it's very thing and fits my hand perfectly. I've broken it in and it's been very reliable thus far. It's also pretty accurate for such a small, short-barreled gun.
I ordered a IWB holster from Kevin at K&D holster back in July...
I might open-carry in bear country, in the fall in Alaska, though I've been back-woods camping in both Denali (where you can't carry) and down on the Kenai and only carried bear spray. I know the threat of bears is real but I think it's a bit over-blown. Up in the Adirondacks or North Maine...
There seems to be lot of these around. I don't think Taurus sold as many of these as they had hoped. They're a cool truck-gun but too big and clunky to carry anywhere. Hold and shoot one before you leap.
I've got one of those in the "PUG" version. Fun little things. They're like jewelery.
Daily carry in the winter is a NAA Guardian in .32, back-pocket holster
Daily carry in the summer is a Keltec P3AT (.380), back-pocket holster
If I'm going somewhere scary I'll carry a Sig P6 IWB. I've also...
Looks like a Browning A5? What year?
I went and looked at a first-year Belgium A5 today but passed on it. Had a open choke and a Cutts compensator on it. It was in pretty nice shape. They guy said new, unfired but it's hard to tell. Wanted $650 for it.
Nice pile of bunnies and birds!
I guess what I'm saying is both of these deer were basically the same size, shot at basically the same range in basically the same place. The .243 is .95 grain, the .35 is 200 grain and there was basically no difference in the distance the ran after the shot or more importantly the damage...
Looks great. I'm really happy you went in this direction. If you need any help with the wiring, let me know. It's really not as complicated as some guys make it out to be.
I guess it's alright. I sighted both my Model 94 Winchester 30-30s and my Marlin 336 35 Rem with it at 100 yards. As said, this last one was shot with .35 Rem and maybe 50 yards. Blew up one lung and she didn't run far. Maybe 100 feet or so? I actually expected her to drop in her tracks but...
