I would check with Curt at Cruiser Outfitters for your OME lift needs, and then with Wil at Sierra Expeditions for the ARB bumper. Both great to deal with, and won't give you the runaround like Rocky Road.

So are there any actual problem areas with the Gen III Monteros to check out, or problematic systems that should be looked at a bit more closely than others before buying? Thanks, G

And just another random thought....are there decent custom fit seat covers available for these? I'm not keen on leather to the point that it is deal killer with most vehicles. However, if good, canvas seat covers are available, this would alleviate some problems with that one aspect. Anyone know?

Well, with two kids, and friends, those extra seats are needed. I do like that they are out of the way entirely when not in use.

That would be why I didn't see it in the one I looked at; they were hidden! I'm guessing that storage area is pretty large then, if it can handle those seats.

Google shows several different configurations for the 3rd row; did they only come in one flavor for the US market?

So I see a lot of talk about GenII, 2.5s and Gen IIIs. From my reading, I see the difference in the 2 to the 3, but can't determine what the difference is between the 2.5s and the rest of them. Can someone chime in on this? Thanks, G
