Experience With Preparing ISUZU NPS Camper: Body

This is good stuff. I recently acquired a fuel filter/separator off of a wrecked Hino box truck. It has a heater and water sensor built in to it and the filter housing is clear for visual inspection of the filter and of the fuel color I assume. I mounted it next to my tank on the frame which is...

    Composting or cartridge toilet ?

I've been considering building my own setup like this instead of spending $900 on a natures head that doesn't really fit my space. I like hearing the feedback from others that this works just as well. My plan is to have a urine tank for use when we camp somewhere where we don't want the urine to...

    Fuso air filters

You can install a wideband O2 gauge and sensor and or an EGT gauge and sensor. Or if you were to find a shop with a chassis dyno, they could measure the O2 and possibly the EGT but your exhaust would need an EGT bung.

    Fuso air filters

Some other things to consider: One filter might flow more because it filters less or it might flow more because it has more surface area to flow through. Kind of what Skifreak touched on. Unless something is lost with the more restrictive filter, I would be inclined to think it's just a...

Isuzu NPR 4x4 Beast! - Rebelzilla by Rebel Off Road

I imagine it would be pretty hard to put a price tag on a conversion like that as they've only done the one and maybe didn't keep track of man hours?

Water storage solution for family trip?

I'm not sure PVC is correct for potable water storage. Especially while baking in the sun. Maybe some stainless tubing instead? Would probably be lighter too. Keep it insulated or shaded in some way to avoid drinking hot water.

Isuzu NPR 4x4 Beast! - Rebelzilla by Rebel Off Road

Can you elaborate? Why exactly would that cause bumpsteer? If perhaps it has enough travel to cause bumpsteer by maxing out the range of the drag link I suppose you're right but I could only see that happening when completely twisted up. Even then it would steer both wheels the same. However the...

Thanks! Yeah I was going to post pics but you beat me to it. It was pretty easy. Fairly minimal fab work.

Thanks man. I'm really excited too. Wish I had rebelzilla money and a crew to work on it. I might finish this decade!

I hung my tank from my subframe. Maybe consider that?

NPR 4wd conversion and camper build thread.

The camper was originally meant to go on a pickup truck frame. It's angled for better aerodynamics. Now instead of the front portion being over a pickup cab, it's behind the npr cab. When closed it's about even with the top of the NPR cab.
