    Plumbing Espar Hydronic D5

My thoughts as well. Doing so will actually simplify your setup. No need for an expansion tank at that point. Probably won't need a bleed point if it's all mounted low but a bleeder is really simple if needed

    Plumbing Espar Hydronic D5

I think you would just want the expansion tank to T into the main line. The lines on the one pictured are too small to flow what the espar flows. Also those tanks aren't sealed, they are vented as it's meant to hold the coolant from a radiator as it warms up and expands and then allow it to be...

Gluing glass panels into aluminum frame. Sika?

I spoke to Sika today and they recommend using 255 with activator and 205 primer before the 255. Is the activator and primer necessary in your opinion? When I look at my suppliers website I see activator 060H1LT primer and activator 205 primer. Are those correct? He only told me activator and...

Gluing glass panels into aluminum frame. Sika?

I've touched on this subject before but never got a direct recommendation for a product. I have a call in to Sika so I will post here what they say but I would like to hear of any first hand experience with this. I have some blank, tempered, double pane windows that I had fabricated by a...

    Fluid monitoring

I know with most automotive sensors, splitting their signal can cause issues with the computer not receiving the right signal. You will need to add sensors if you want to go tge aftermarket logger route.

    Fluid monitoring

You mentioned monitoring in multiple locations. Does that truck have sensors in multiple locations for the same fluid? That's why I suggested the aftermarket dash. There are also multiple data logger options out there that could display info on a tablet. Look into the racing world for those.

    Plumbing Espar Hydronic D5

It's also pretty easy to tie the Espar into your engines cooling system so you also create hot water while you drive

    Fluid monitoring

You could do it with an aftermarket dashboard like what is available from racepak and others. You would add sensors where needed to monitor what you want. The dashes are configurable to display tge info in any number of ways and some can log that info

I've been looking at various FRP paneling for my build. Plenty of color and pattern options out there.

    pivoting frames and mounting campers

Sounds pretty workable to me. I guess you would want shocks on the sprung corners. Also normal shackles and rubber bushings seems less complicated and would require less maintenance and you may need a locator on either end to prevent side to side forces from levering on the center mounts.

    on-board air

I suppose they do for actual scuba use. I've got a couple tanks with round end caps. I'm just guessing at them being old scuba tanks. It all depends on what I can package where though. May not use them at all

NPR 4wd conversion and camper build thread.

I haven't done much lately but I needed room in the shop so I put the camper on the NPR frame. It's blocked up at about the height it will be once it's mounted on the flatbed so it's a good mockup. I will be shortening the wheelbase to align the wheels approximately with the opening in the side...

Would you use brake hose to make air hose?

Makes sense. Air brake hose should work great but not very flexible.

Would you use brake hose to make air hose?

Seems like brake hose may have too small of an ID to flow much air.

Again these came on my project truck and I am converting over so 37" singles. I have a new set of wheels and tires for Ford duallys. The tires are Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ 315/75-16 load range E. These are 35" tall and retail for around $300 each. The wheels are Ultra Wheels Worx Triad. 16"...

FS: Warn Winch 9.5 XPS unused $1200

This is another part that came with my project truck. I won't be needing it. It was mounted but never used. Includes the winch and control box but the control cable is missing. I can buy one and sell it with the winch if that will sweeten the deal but they are only about $50 from Warn I believe...
