"Bruce" the 2014 Jeep JKUR Build Thread

To play devils advocate, they would probably edit out the shot where the product fails and caves in the rocker panel. From the reports I've read, they're pretty strong. But you'd want something beefier for the Wayalife style wheeling. IMHO, That stuff is too nerve racking to enjoy.

My friend has those and the Rubi rails. That's a lot of slider weight though and east a up a couple inches of clearance.

Bruce needs to go there too. Overdue for an oil change. Do you all go by a mileage or when the computer tells you to? I'm sure the dealerships would love for us to do 3000mi change intervals. But I've gone about 7,000 and the computer still says 11% oil life.

"Bruce" the 2014 Jeep JKUR Build Thread

A couple people offered to sell me theirs on JK-Forum for like $400. And I've seen some go on ebay for $450 with free shipping. Back in 2009 when they came out, dealerships seemed to sell them for $450 (according to several forum posts)...

They're these Mopar 82210575AG http://www.quadratec.com/products/12112_222_07.htm Some people say they get them from their dealerships for $450. I see them sell used on eBay and craigslist and forums for $300-400.

I picked up a set of 3 week old OEM Mopar Enhanced Rubicon Rails from a guy getting rid of them locally. Dave from AEV said that AEV actually makes these for Mopar. Luckily I was able to sell my Rubicon Rails on ebay to cover the cost. These seem like a good option for a few reasons. Gives up...

Thanks. It looks like a table that opened the other direction would work.

A few questions for those running Partner 2 burner 18" Stoves...

My current stove is very unwieldy that's why I asked. But the partners slimmer proportions would let it show in a drawer without eating up all the space.

"Bruce" the 2014 Jeep JKUR Build Thread

Minor Update: I was experiencing some jiggling in the steering wheel at speed on the highway. So I removed the AEV geometry correction brackets. My lift was just barely at AEV's recommended minimum lift for using the geo brackets. The clunking and steering wheel movement at speed has improved...

Do you sleep in your JK

I'm 6' and have the front runner interior rack in mine. I've moved the gear onto the interior rack, folded the middle row flat, stuffed a towel in the crack, and slid the front passenger seat forward. With a 3" thick sleeping bad I slept way better than I would have in the crazy wind outside...

A few questions for those running Partner 2 burner 18" Stoves...

I hear that some of the partner stoves are designed to fit inside an ammo can. Anyone have a picture of this? It doesn't seem to exist no the internet.

How does the drawer work with the tailgate table? Can you open the drawer to get food out while the table is down?

A few questions for those running Partner 2 burner 18" Stoves...

One more question: Would a Partner steel stove be up to the task of heating the water in a Zodi Extreme shower? Their burner just seems like another thing to bring along and keep track of.
