I installed the Teraflex 2.5" Budget Boost and the AEV geometry correction brackets yesterday. I got a good deal on a used Teraflex spacer lift, but it turned out to be missing the rear brakeline drop brackets, rear longer swaybars and front shock extensions. I ordered those. All considered I...
Weird. I know they're switching to the rigid brand and to no discount pricing like AEV. But I read prices were going up, not down. Unless Northridge is pulling one over on everyone.
Yup, I'm trying to catch up to you. Picking up a temporary lift and a winch today.
The JW speakers seem better. But I'm not a fan of their look or price. I like that the Trucklites look basically oem but slightly more modern. Now if I could find those Mopar Topo grill wraps from last years...
Well this is finally out of the way. Kind of. Now I have to redo our garage to get all my tools out of the house. Which will be nice to have access to all my tools and expo gear and maybe even be able to store my hard top.
I always plan to not drive at night. Then end up driving at night on...
I installed some ARB IPF H4 conversion headlights last week. The light was whiter. But without the foglights, the low beams were still barely bright enough to see on a darkish city street. The highbeams had more distance but were also too dim and th beam pattern too narrow. Luckily I bought them...
Vector Offroad Exo Rack w/ JK EXO RACK LIGHT RISER - $120
I used this once but am switching to an AEV tire carrier and no longer need this set up. It's mostly lived in my storage unit. Creates a very solid rack for Rotopax, tools, lights, antennas, third brake lights, etc. It works with any of...
I have a brand new, black, JK 4-door, Spiderweb Shade that I've just never gotten around to using or installing. Comes with all the necessary bungie cords. $75. Free Shipping.
Signed all the paperwork and gave them all of my money this morning. We bought it from our land lords who have kind of been like our west coast parents in that they've been much nicer to us than they should have been. They sold it to us for a good amount under market value to avoid the hassle of...
I have a 6mo old ARB IPF Headlight conversion. Much better color and distance than stock headlights. Switching to LEDs and selling these. They come with everything you need plus spare OEM mounting plates and retainer rings and a brand new set of H4 Bulbs.
Free shipping in the U.S.
2 IPF...
I don't think this is the normal way to buy a house. People normally save up money, get pre approved for a mortgage, then buy one.
Our land lords came out of nowhere and said, "hey want to buy this place?" So we went from having like no money to buying a expensive house in Santa Monica in 6mos.
Speaking of useless mods, has anyone figured out a cheap way to simulate the grill from last years mojo concept? It's just a satin black wrap with topographic lines but I like the look and would give it a try for $100.
I was about to order some from north ridge before the price went up but my friend who has them convinced me not too. I like the look though.
For $75 I figured the ARBs were worth a try.
In more important news, all our final mortgage loan docs went through today. Singing the final paperwork...
I installed some ARB IPF headlight conversion kit tonight. Got a good deal on eBay. I'm not sure the upgrade is worth the cost. The light color is definitely better. The high beams seem better too. I'll aim them up higher and see. Might go with the trucklites after all.
That's what I was thinking. But I'm also leery of all those Evap plastic connectors. I broke all the engine bay ones doing the dual battery install and haven't fixed them.
I'm excited to take another mod off the to do list. And not because I completed it, but because it's no longer necessary. 2013+ JKs come with an OEM stamped steel Evap cannister skid plate. So I don't think relocating or protecting it is a high priority anymore.
