I’d just get a topper.
Bed racks are great… if you’re a plumber. Otherwise all your stuff is going to get filthy, and if you’re like most… it will be for sale in 6 months.
Seems it’s more internet hype than anything.
Toyota will fix them all in the end, unlike the big 3 who really leave people hanging.
And no I don’t feel bad for owners who had to have the latest greatest thing. It’s just a recall, there aren’t broken down Tundras lining the highways across...
Lane assist is useless, jerky and makes you look like a drunk driver. Dynamic cruise is nice but if you don’t already have it, it’s not worth buying a new vehicle for.
The 5.7 is a much more powerful/better motor, but the 07+ tundras are behemoths. All years of Tundras until 2019 or so were available in a 8' long bed which is nice if you want a real truck.
There are long tube headers available for a 1st gen Tundra. (Insert any manufacturer)’s long tube headers will make way better power over stocks.
Doug Thorley is nothing special, just the go-to headers for the GX/4R 2UZ
I never said the parks came before the roads. I said the parks would be nicer if the roads didn’t exist. Your highway is litter on the landscape, regardless of which came first.
…And the Sierra Club has helped expand and protect nearly every park over the years. I didn't say they were responsible for starting the parks… they help keep the vultures away who would otherwise dismantle and exploit the parks for resources, etc.
Lane assist is terrible in my prius, useless feature, very jerky and annoying.
The adaptive cruise control function is awesome.
This all started around 2016.
I don’t know the model. T3 something, it’s a synthetic stock with a fluted stainless barrel.
I put about 20 rounds through it a year, mostly to sight in before hunting season. It’s a very accurate rifle, unlike my 270 B.A.R.
I find the thought of a ‘truck gun’ far less practical and far more silly than a ‘truck fishing rod’… but for about two weeks out of the year I carry an ‘elk gun’ in my truck; Tikka 300 win mag.
There is a time and place for off highway vehicle travel and it’s not within National Park boundaries, which take up a lot less acreage than you seem to think. These are mostly protected from our big dumb vehicles for a reason.
National Forest, BLM, etc… that’s where the rules are loose and...
Historic Litter is more like it.
Am I the only one that wishes all signs of human existence were removed from national parks?
I’d be on board with National Parks being 100% walk in access only.
To hell with that tram. To hell with buses full of tourists. To hell with vehicles in there...
OME or Dobinsons. For Toyota I stick with the Aussie brands, they have far more experience for many more years at building lifts for overloaded Toyotas.
Dobinsons, in particular, has far better spring selection than any other vendor. I have the MRAs.
Bilstein is a budget brand, their shocks...
