Update: The AEV 2.5 lift is on the JK. Have the Rancho correction brackets. Torque Sealed all bolts so I can keep an eye on everything. We've done several trips with the stock JK size tires and everything rides fantastic. Today a set of 35x11.5R17 Toyo AT3s are going on the stock rims...

The toytec coilover exploded at 53k miles. Want to try something new. Any recommendations? Looking at OME MT64, Bilstein 6000, etc. Some don't list GX kits, but do for the 4runner. If I buy a 4runner kit, do I need to compensate with heavier springs in the front?

I would prefer the MT Baja Boss 255, but the price is nuts.

The only way to know for sure you be to cycle your wheel travel with the bump stop, spring, and shock. Measure the travel and and clearance issues you might have and then compare that useable travel to the compressed and elongated length of the shock.

How much longer with AEV carry the JK 2.5 lift? Just bought a 2015 JK Rubicion Hardrock and want to run their lift. Plus, I guess I better buy the Tire Carrier that fits the Hardrock bumper from them ASAP.
