I've always had great CS with Tepui. I have a ruggedized Grand Sabana and the bug screen on the annex had holes so they sent me a whole new annex. I would say give them a call anyways while your claim with REI is processing.

Not sure if this was mentioned before, but I used some of these pet tie down steaks for ground anchors - worked awesome and are super cheap. Harbor Freight has them for under $4.

I removed the covers from the black-out lights, installed a regular white bulb, and wired the black-out light circuit into the reverse connection of the hitch harness. Do can you share some pics and let me know the bulb p/n? I'm looking to do this on my 1102.

I have a 1102 and with my 08 GMC Sierra w/ 35's , it is a heavy haul up some hills at highway speeds.

Cool - looks good! The top of my trailer has a ~2' section in the front and in the back it has double hinges - the whole back opens up, or I can open it like a butterfly from the sides - so I have multiple hinge areas. For the weatherproofing, i did the same, just put some foam weather...

Some updated pics... Now looking for some options on how to weatherproof and block off the electronics inside the trailer.. Some action shots... Looking forward to some more trips this year! -Jarred

I like it! I'm doing something similar with my 1102. This is before I added my electrical components. I'll be watching this thread for sure!!

Here is what I did on my 1102. I plan to swap the single 12V deep cycle for two 6V golf cart batteries and once that is done I'll mount the batteries and the inline charger. I also still need to work on a cover for the wiring.

Hi All, Does anybody have any suggestions on how to fold in the U shaped bar that goes over the ladder/entrance on the Grand Sabana or Autana when folding it up? I just received my ruggedized GS and I'm still trying to figure this out. Thanks!! Jarred

I'm in going down the path of an RTT on top of my trailer. I had a custom rack built by a local company and when my Tepui comes in I'll put it on top (should be in a couple weeks). This is a bit of an old pic, so the top is done now and I'm working on the electrical. -Jarred
