I went with the Softopper and am very pleased. In fact it has way out preformed my expectations. The fabric reminds me of my only jeep top and does NOT leak. I have been using it in a lot of rain and no comlaints. The fit is beautiful with everything nice and taught. I'll get some pics...
I hope it didn't read like I was whining. It is annoying to think of all the time and energy I put into training... but then I think I am just prepared if disaster strikes. I've thought about trying to stay in the field as an Inspector. I spent those same four years working in the fire...
I worked out the numbers and the papers will be stacked to the top of the cab with some more going into the cabin.... so no duffel bag. My taco is an '02. Do you have any pictures of your bestop?
A quick search on CL in my area came up with nada. There is a silver LEER on ebay for $300 in GA but the seller isn't willing to ship. I doubt the price of shipping would be too cheap.
That one looks good! How does your buddy like it?
The website looks good and it is considerably less. I know you get what you pay for but for what I want to use it for... I think it would do nicely.
The quad cab seems to be holding me back with the soft top. Bestop doesn't offer one for the DC. The only company I've been able to find is..

Never heard of them and couldn't find any reviews.
Hey all!
While I go to school I picked up a job bundle hauling newspapers in the morning. I don't have to go door to door but will need to haul lots of papers. My quad cab offers plenty of space except when I need to keep it out of the rain.
So i have been looking at toppers. I don't want to...
I am looking forward to a finished review on the logistics and reality of this build. What I mean is many (MOST) of us dream about a diesel swap but never end up pulling the trigger. I am looking forward to your analysis at the end to say if this is a realistic build or not. Will you be...
I was just informed of the buy back program yesterday and have been looking into it all night (I was just laid off... I have spare time). It turns out my father's company designed the machines that apply the e coat for dana corp. He didn't design this particular system for Dana but has known...

Double cab, diesel, SA.... I want it:drool: !
Know it can't be registered and the shipping from Japan would be...
I think I found what I am looking for.

It is lightwieght, easy to remove, and NOT diamond plate. I have to admit I have a diamond plate phobia.. or as we call it around here, redneck bling. I'm not looking for a box that...
I am looking to outfit my Taco with four 265/75r16 Cooper Tire Discoverer S/Ts. Now that I have definitively decided the size and brand I am going with I started looking for the best price.
The local Farm and Fleet is selling them at $165.99 per tire. Which for four equals out to be...
I really had my heart set on one of these from ironmansuspension.com
http://www.ironmansuspension.com/accessoriesutebox.html
But i am told that they don't import them into the U.S. I liked that it was plastic (light weight) and low profile.
Now that it isn't an option I was hoping someone...
I've done a whole lot of searching and have seen many side views of 235/85 tires. They are for my '02 Double cab Tacoma. It sees many street miles and the trails I ride are often covered with mud or some gravel.
I am looking for a front on or rear on view. I am stuck between 265/75s and the...
