I am looking at the 01-04 DC Tacos. I don't think it is worth only looking at the TRD models. I'll just find one that is priced right and then upgrade as needed.
I have sold my built Rubicon to a nice gentleman in Oklahoma.
Now it's time for the vehicle search. Ever since I have been active on this forum I have been lusting after the early DC Tacomas. What I am wondering is should I hold out for a TRD model to pop up or just go with a non-trd...
I was hoping we could get pictures of all the EXPO Land Rovers in one thread. Sorry if this has been done before but I couldn't find it in the Rover Section.
Thanks for the pictures Scott. They look great! Did you notice any difference on the road. I have had some expierences with 'competition' wheels that seriously changed the on road ride for the worse. Love the charcol on white and as someone else said they aren't like every other wheel you...
I saw that these wheels are now available in the U.S.. There isn't much on thier website. What are the pros and cons of these wheels? Are they worth the price which I can't find on thier site? I am interested in useing these on a Tacoma.
Thanks
Josh
I am looking for 4 (possibly more) Michelin XZLs in the 7.50R16 size. I am interested in slightly used or brand new or a vendor that sells them. I want them as a set of off road only tires. Thanks.
Josh
Please move this if it is not appropriate in this section.
Thanks for the reviews. I think I am sold after this thread and some researching last night. Sounds like the perfect Christmas gift to myself... err after I buy everyone else on my list something of course.:shakin:

I was just kicking back reading the latest Overland Journal (they keep getting better!) and was overjoyed to find a GPS article. I am looking to replace my dated eTrex for a larger unit with auto-routing capabilities. I want it to be rugged for off roading, hiking, and some kayaking, but...
Also mind if I post this over at Rubicon owners forum? Lots of us over there love the skinny tires and are dissatisfied with the small selection of 35ish" skinnies.

The more I think about these the more I feel disappointed. Where is the siping? I hope the sidewall is beefed up. The original is an icon but could use some updates (ie sidewall, sipeing, maybe even sidewall lugs).
I hope this is just meant to suplement the existing lineup. Otherwise I...
any reports on sidewall strength?
I once ripped a hole in the sidewall of an old bfg M/T by staring at it for 5 minutes... to be fair though I was making an angry face.

No sir not me. One day soon I hope to own a Defender... I don't need to tell you all about how beautiful they are... ever since "All gods must be crazy" I have wanted one... I wish they could have made them compliant back in the 90s and still imported them. It makes me sick when I look in...
Good point:oops: . I thought that was some sort of exeption deal since it is always government vehicles. Where I live (the wilds of n. Illinois) the mail lady sits on the passenger seat of her civic. I suppose I'll take this this moment to thank all the good folks of the US Postal service...
Just cruising ebay and I saw this...

I love the color.
My question is, is this a grey market type vehicle? I was under the impression that...
