no worries on the credit, just thought you might want to know. glad to hear you were not misled on the 4.6 that would be a huge bummer. Frankly it needed it. I wonder if they re-did the chip when they went to the 4.6. It had a custom mapped chip in it.

Correction I built it up myself, Matt helped with some things and did most of the motor swap. I am glad to see someone who will use it has it and will enjoy it. BTW unless your PO swapped a 4.6 in after he bought it, it has a 4.0 in it, which is what I sold it with and represented it as.

Mike not sure about the revalveing, it sounds like isaac is correct. I cannot say enough good things about the 7100 though, a great shock for the money. E-Shock.com is a good source and they stock several valving configurations for Rovers. Paul is the guy to talk with there.

You know the rack thing is dependant on where your primary off roading/ exploring is. Back East here in New England I am not a big lover of the rack, I had it on and off my truck several times, for the most part they are a hinderance on the tightly wooded and overgrown areas we tend to explore...

I did it by the book from POR, it held up well for about a year or so then the chips turned into peeling sheets. I probably should have been better about touching it up or putting a sacrificial coating like Waxoyl hardwax over it.

Thanks Jim. I can get SEM through my local auto paint shop. I never liked POR myself, It always seemed to get a chip which would rust then the whole thing would peel off like bad powdercoat. Jesse
