    Post Pic's of your Jeep

Looks like a solid setup for long trips in an LJ. I don't think I have seen that rack before. Looks like a good one.

Unlimited wrangler (LJ) Daily driver/expedition vehicle

I can vouch for that. I have Currie setup and mine did break off.

Unlimited wrangler (LJ) Daily driver/expedition vehicle

I took one of the needle type zerk fittings out of a disfunctional set of u-joints and replaced the standard zerk after I broke mine off. It will be very difficult to break it off now! I have to grease my CTM's with the needle fitting periodically so it isn't an inconvienience at all.

I think I am gonna build an Unlimited....

I'm with you on the diesel. I don't understand why Jeep refuses to make them. Let me know if I can help you out with the highline. If you don't mind loosing some wheel travel and hitting the bumpstops occasionally, the longer bumpstops should work to run 37's with 3" of lift. I only have...

I think I am gonna build an Unlimited....

This sounds like a great project. It is similar to the way I went with mine. I have a few suggetions for you though speaking from my experience. I would consider either getting a Rubicon or plan on uprgrading the front axle of the Unlimited as the 37's will be a bit much for the Dana 30...

    Post Pic's of your Jeep

Man, I love the 8's. I have to keep myself from buying one for a project. Lord knows I don't need another project. There are some cool Jeep's on here. I thought I had sunk some money into mine until I saw some of these rigs. And the trailers...

    Post Pic's of your Jeep

Here are a couple of mine. I have been enjoying the site for awhile but I don't think I have ever posted pics of the Jeep. It is setup to be a reliable daily driver (my only driver) with the ability to tackle some tough trails. I drove it to Moab from Texas twice but now it gets flat towed...

Jeep preventative maintenance - what to change at 170K miles?

X2 on the crankshaft postion sensor. Even if you don't change it you should get a spare. It is the only sensor that the computer can't compensate for by using the limp mode if it fails.

Awesome trip. I have been back at work about 2 weeks now since seeing you on the trail and you are still going! Man I wish I had an extra two weeks to spend out that way.

    IntrepidXpedition 2007

Hey man. Cool pics and nice rig. I actually crossed paths with you on Tincup pass. You were headed to St Elmo and we were headed to Tincup. We were in the khaki Rubicon that passed by near the top of the actual pass. I saw your Expedition Portal Sticker and decided to come here and look you...
