Post Van Parts For Sale Here please

Fair enough. Worth it as well if you don't want the long wait on springs. I've got an EB high top 6.8 though. I'll be waiting a while for the progressive springs... and a bit more cash.

Post Van Parts For Sale Here please

Aside from the modified gas tank, any add-ons for this like dual shock, air bags, etc? If not, why 1K over retail?

Newbie - need spring bushing advice

250 ft/lb torqued grade 10 bolts sure aren't for old crippled dudes, that's for sure. Got the bolt out. Guess I need to buy a bigger torque wrench for getting the new one back on. I'll have to use a floor jack on the torque wrench to torque it the same way I did to break it (and hopefully not...

    1998 E350 V10 oil cooler change questions

Got quoted just over $1000 today for this oil cooler change. Every shop I've called seems to think the intake manifold needs to come off per their estimate software which of coarse adds like 4 hours labor. I see an oil cooler housing and a gasket that mounts it all the the block. I don't see why...

    1998 E350 V10 fuel filter change/system flush?

Considering changing my fuel filter on my van as part of my check list as well. I've never changed one before, but it looks straight forward enough aside from some likely maneuvering issues getting my hands up there while on my back. This Tennessee church van sat a lot and was only driven on...

    1998 E350 V10 oil cooler change questions

I'm working through doing all the 100,000 mile service stuff on our van before we start building it out. Working through the cooling system now and just have the lower radiator hose and the oil cooler left. Has anyone ever tangled with one of these themselves? Oil Cooler Photo I've read...

Newbie - need spring bushing advice

It sounds like since I've got the ones without the metal outer sleeves I can get away with leaving the spring on the van too. Just drop the front of it, maybe a little heat, and a ball joint press. One thing worked out alright... in theory at least.

Newbie - need spring bushing advice

I believe I have the same ones. At least it appears that way: Driver's rear forward spring bushing pics I can score those Moog bushings on Rock Auto for $8.08 a piece. Nice. Thanks for the suggestion. Haven't found a post yet with anyone using polyurethane bushings. Wondering why not...

Newbie - need spring bushing advice

I'm new to working on these one ton Ford vans and have never changed spring bushings before, but one of my rear forward ones is shot on my 1998 E350 EB. The spring is shifted and the rubber is wasted so I need to replace that one at the minimum asap. I'm trying to keep any suspension upgrades to...

    V10 Exhaust Manifold Studs

That's reassassuring. I know a few parts like the EGR and the exhaust can't hold paint due to high heat so rust is normal, I've just been getting beat up by friends and family a lot for putting any money into "this piece of **** van" so any rust I see makes me, I guess even more self conscious...

    V10 Exhaust Manifold Studs

This thread has me mildly anxious as there is some rust on my 98's exhaust manifolds as well. It's a solid year away from 4 x 4 conversion and probably 2 years from getting beat up a lot, but has me thinking... when am I gonna have to deal with these?

Post Van Parts For Sale Here please

I know this is an old post, but if you're still in Phoenix, I'm just starting to build my '98 V-10 E350. If you have parts laying around still, I could probably use a few odds and ends. I need passenger headlamp at the moment. I've got piles of trim and bench seats over here that have to go. I'm...

"Big Dirty Green" - 1998 E350 Club Wagon Build

We were unable to get an oil change before business hours that day, so delayed departure for home one more day. Sunday, we took on the massive task of finding a transmission shop and/or service shop anywhere to do oil change and general inspection before we hit the highway. After probably twenty...

"Big Dirty Green" - 1998 E350 Club Wagon Build

We arrived at the dealership right before closing and the sales experience didn't go as well as I would have liked, mostly just due to poor customer service and a very young sales person. The van has a bit more frame rust than I cared for, but it wasn't a deal breaker for just over $4000. It...

"Big Dirty Green" - 1998 E350 Club Wagon Build

Hi, I'm Rick, new member, but I've been lurking and stalking many of you for over a year as @ricusmortis on Instagram. I thought I'd post an intro to myself, my family, and our van project. I hope you like to read! Just about no one will listen to us and our van stories which has been...
