    F-150 SAS

It has worked great for me and the only thing I may change is to drop the lift a few inches. I originally acquired the truck with a 6 inch lift. However, as it is it still works good so I not too inclined to change it yet. Its primary purpose is extended camping trips and backcountry exploring...

    F-150 SAS

Got a few more pictures from some recent outings. Truck has been running good. I added a high lift mount to the front bumper. Next on the list is a rear bumper for carrying extra fuel cans, water cans, and shovel mount.

    F-150 SAS

I'll work on some more pics this weekend. The rotors and breaks are were installed brand new. Anyway, I am happy with the way it works and plan on having it a long time. I know a many of you here could have done it a lot cheaper, but I did not have the skills nor did I have a place to perform...

    F-150 SAS

. I think that is a better option too. I only went through with it because I already had the F150 and it was otherwise in great condition with other additions for my needs. Of course if you have the tools and skills then youcan do it much cheaper.

    F-150 SAS

The front bumper was also made by RPM Fab (Arizona) The SAS will run you about $10k for everything including brakes. The donor axle was from a 79 F250

slow build- 97 Ram CTD family truck/expo rig

Great job on the center console. That gives me some ideas for my rig. I need to move my ARB locker switches. They are right by my knee and are sometimes inadvertantly switched on without my consent.

    F-150 SAS

I should add that although I would like to take credit, I did not do the work myself. It was done by RPM Fab in AZ.

    F150 trucks

Wow, this F150 thread has taken off. For those willing and able to lighten their load a little, I think the F150 is more than adequate. Jerry, pardon my stupid questions but what do you mean when by "stock 8.8 open front, 10.25 posi rear" What do the numbers represent? Scoby, that is a...

    F150 trucks

Thanks for the welcome. I agree, the F150 forum is lame. Here are a couple of shots of the roof rack build. Got the pieces cut for the main part of the frame and did a dry fit layout. Probably will use perforated steel or extended steel as a decking. Hope to do the welding in the next few weeks...

    F150 trucks

I have seen a lot of F150 projects here lately and have followed with interest looking for ideas. Thought I would contribute mine too. Only had it a few months but have enjoyed getting out with it. It is a 2002 F150 with a Fabtech 6'' lift in the front. Skyjacker 5'' springs in the rear. Next...

A 1/2 Ton In The Making

Looks good. Can you get a pic of how you ran the wiring from the rack lights to the inside of the cab? Did you need to drill through the cab?

    2002 F150 suspension lift

Hi Got Beer It is a supercab. It does not have full size rear doors. I don't know if the lights are factory or not. The tires are just under 35". Also when I purchsed the truck it had factory leaf springs and blocks in the rear. I replaced those with 5" Skyjacker leaf springs and ditched the...

    2002 F150 suspension lift

Hi all. First post Recently purchased a 2002 F150 4wd. It came with a fabtech 6 inch lift in the front. I have a question about the CV joints and ball joints. The local shop inspected them and they were good. But any idea if the lift is going to cause significant damage or wear them out...
