Wow, it was a sauna last night with 95 degrees and high humidity. I ran the trucks A/C a couple times to cool off the camper. Nice having the interior open to the cab’s A/C. View of the river for breakfast. Now off for some kayaking.

With my creek crossing widened, I can finally drive my Gladiator down to the River Clearing on my property. The winch came in handy clearing some big fallen trees. Man I love these rope winches instead of the old steel cable, that would tear up my hands.

As you can see, the crossing was pretty narrow and I've never taken the Gladiator across. It was mainly for my side by side, but occasionally someone was brave enough to cross with a smaller Jeep. When I'm done, it should be twice as wide as below.

Well the hail hit St.Louis yesterday and a couple of my cars got damaged. The Gladiator faired pretty well with only a couple dings on the hood. Hope the Dent shop can pop them out.

Two things I hate about my Gladiator when camping!! 1) The headlights turn on every time I open a door. This will really piss off those nice tent campers next to you in the middle of the night. 2) The damn horn sounds every time I lock my truck. Those poor campers are really upset at me now...

Ran into a fellow Overlander and Mountain biker this morning. He’s been living in his truck for the last 6 months and slowly making his way from California eastward. And I thought I used my camper a lot!

Guess this is the last night I will need the heater for the season. I had the diesel heater on the lowest setting and outside it was 50 degrees. Inside was cozy. Looks like it’s going to be a great day.
