Wait a second. Are you running a JK AEV front bumper? What all did you have to do to get it to fit?

It looks like the Black Hills South Dakota BDR-X is a dirt bike route? Can a full size 4x4 do most of it, or did you need to pick and chose which parts to do?

From my understanding the only thing different is the mounting. The AEV version mounted directly to the roll bar.

I had the AEV version. It was a sturdy son of a gun.

We're finally at a point where Brutes are going down in price thanks to the Gladiator. I would still prefer a Brute but if you're rear ended in a Gladiator you can easily find a bed, not so much with a Brute.

I recently bought an AEV snorkel and the instructions say to add a pin to secure the head as well as the clamp. I wonder if that was added since your incident.
