My experience was similar, though I started at an aggressive price and sold it for very close to that number. Actually had as much interest from 500+ miles away as local. Ended up selling to the first guy who actually put eyes on and drove the truck. He had a local shop do an inspection and...
That's something I hadn't thought about, actually. In my mind, if a seller lists things that have recently been done, it tells me he/she takes care of their ride. The financial benefit of stuff I don't have to do is a bonus. Interesting point.
Nope, just market value for the truck. I didn't list everything that it has or that I've done to it, just adding some detail to what it is. Not sure how you took that to assume what I'm thinking. I know potential buyers won't necessarily value stuff that's been done to it. But dang, if you...
Good stuff, guys, please keep it coming.
This is just some of what I'm seeing regionally. Obviously not apples to apples, but similar trucks. Like I said, just want to get a fair price for it and hopefully find a buyer who considers it a fair deal...
Just looking for a little input on selling my 2011 F-150. I want to be fair but don't want to leave a bunch of money on the table. I've seen similar trucks listed in various places for over $20K, and I don't know if things are selling that high or if it's wishful thinking. I'm in northwest...
I continue to be impressed with mine. Just got back from 9 days in the national forest for an elk hunt, and the rain/snow with some 40 degree days made for a lot of mud. I used common sense but never had to chain up and never got stuck. On the way down the 5th wheel was loaded, and the bed...
I run them on my F-350 diesel. I 'think' I have about 8K miles on them but will need to check my records. I've hauled over a ton in the bed, pulled my loaded 3-horse trailer and a loaded flat bed, plus my 5th wheel that has about an 1800 lb. pin weight. I've used the tires in mud, sand...
Watch the back corners. The lift mechanism brackets get loose, rotate up and put little holes in the roof. Water finds it's way in and rots the wood. It's not difficult to pull the vinyl down to make sure the brackets are secure. It's not specific to Northstar.
I run these on my F350 and am more than satisfied. I regularly haul 2K+ lbs in the bed and have a few different trailers for different uses/weights. I like not having to mess with changing air bag pressures, and my ride hasn't changed when unloaded. When I change trucks I'll buy another set...
Your impressions mirror mine. I run them on an F350 diesel and they handle as you describe. Mine are 285/70-17. The only thing I can add is that they handle loads really well, too. Whether 2K+lbs in the bed, my ~10K 5th wheel, my loaded 3-horse slant tongue pull, or my flatbed loaded with...
