First off if you get the name reference from my favorite tv show without looking it up your awesome !!

This will be my second sequoia I’ve owned , loved the first one and regretted selling it so I got another after bouncing around so many vehicles that just didn’t have the right fit and feel for me . I say it every time I get a new rig but not a lot lined up for a “build” just going to Concentrate on creature comfort’s and storage for now and just getting out and driving it and exploring .

it’s a 05 limited with rear air suspension , leather , non working dvd player and blown jbl speakers .

Had to make a run up to the Seattle area to pickup some boxes for work and head straight back , 320 mile round trip had the cruise set to 72 most the way . Not bad , I’m sure I’ll destroy those numbers soon with new tires lol. 0628DA35-F2F6-4B54-89EA-42F298ACA33F.jpeg

Well as my mind does it’s normal thing I wonder crazy stuff like … what would it take to squeeze a 37 on it . Hmmm little trim here , tub a firewall there , little body lift , small suspension lift ….. hmmm . I mean technically were only speak in 2 1/2 inches more tire to fit in .ADDA20A9-105A-4F8E-90A2-F181005C6F2D.png65171729-E366-4113-8A68-5E386F70D3C8.png

Went out for a little evening drive with my little one to let her drive a little and try out the sequoia on some gravel roads . Rides rather well over bumps I’m sure size and weight helps but ran into a small issue while crawling over a rock , it bumpers and rocked and somehow the airbag fell out . Luckily I was able to deflate it and continue on our way but it did cut the abs line in the process.

Oh man I’m behind
Took a weekend trip with some buddies up and around mount Jefferson in Oregon , popped out the airbag again ripping the hose and burning up the pump , scratched the hell out of it . Great trip with a real simple sleeping setup . 4AC6CC60-1C5D-4B6B-B3A3-387EBC9B1101.jpeg42EEA2F7-00AC-4472-A900-86BBDF0904B9.jpegDDBE2B04-E44E-495C-84EB-564949463A6A.jpegABC074C8-6FE6-4969-9E0B-69373441711A.jpeg9EC1F3E1-E95E-4992-B687-ED5B0D4A8513.jpeg3B9DACBB-9EC9-44CD-A44B-938AD8403847.jpeg37CBC4D2-4B35-4FC9-A6C3-717C892CCCB1.jpegB2C27BB6-CD89-46FE-8075-69C748EDA881.jpeg0F889DB3-FCF5-41EF-8D2C-AF661B37F9F3.jpeg01DD4402-80D9-4CEE-AAC8-D3D01F04BA1C.jpeg

Fixed the suspension with some OME rear springs and a set of front spacers next up eventually is coilovers and some new rear shocks . Sits much better now 59E1C18A-34A7-459F-99D5-E0466802A267.jpegB050A363-E3B5-41CD-A4EE-47E3CF684504.jpeg

As my mind often wonders I wanted 35s with minimal lift . Ordered up a kenda klever 35x10.50r17 and tossed it on a spare rim . In the rear it would fit no problem but the front will require a spacer to clear the upper control arm and that will lead to a lot more trimming than I want to do right now …….. 833E3004-4666-441A-8BD4-DF608BCDD51F.jpeg330C234D-9D32-4F86-891B-481AC556BDAD.jpeg1E9F17DC-D286-482A-AF7C-0641861729EF.jpeg
so my thought went to a 255/80r17 shopping around found a great deal at 205 a pop for some wild peaks , if I end up thinking it’s not enough tire these will go on the little ladies GX eventually I I seriously think I will step up to a 37 . The sequoia is so big 35s almost don’t look like enough tire .
