100 Series Land Cruiser Limb Risers on ARB Sahara Bar

How did those risers work out? I'm scheming for my hundy.

They worked out great! Thanks for asking. They held up to everything we drove through just fine. No signs of stress or bending. They take about a minute to remove to open the hood or take off. I wish I could say the same for my antennas. I finally just took off the CB antenna. Something in the spring base gave out. I also had to relocate the 2 meter antenna. One of the brass sections on the bottom of the antenna broke off when I was backing out of a trail that got too tight. It is now tie wrapped to the edge of my windshield utilizing some of the mounting holes I made for lighting electrical to the roof. I works just fine. I made sure it wasn't touching any other metal when secured. Turning the snorkel head around worked well too. For the days we were on serious jungle track I rigged a friction strap between the snorkel and the awning to provide a bridge up an over the awning. Worked like a charm. I plan to take the cable off, but will leave the cable masts on the bumper.

One of the bumpers I'm looking to buy doesn't have the customary bull bars to land them on. Your option looks good, is [now] proven and protects the headlights a bit.

did you actually run into any heavy limbs with that setup? it just doesnt look very sturdy, like it wouldnt pass the body weight test.
